Black Milk Gastro Bar — Restaurant in Stockholm

For my no-reservations lunch, I probably should have chosen the outdoor café seating, instead of the cramped indoor seating (counter seating also available on the ground floor, with a few tables on the 1st floor). Strangely, the modern decor somehow made the space feel far darker than it was.

The servers were helpful, although less so when assisting with the wine selection.

The red sole and pilaf, although prepared suspiciously quickly, was not too bad, but the over-sauced presentation seemed to be more of a soup.

I'll probably stop back… for lunch. I imagine the evening a bit louder and cramped than I usually hope...

We tried their tasting menu dinner. I am sharing my personal experience. didn’t see a coherence between the dishes. Too much explanation of what you eat and then the food itself fell short of what it meant to be. Extremely long waiting times between the dishes and you walk away hungry. The waiters are too keen to push their add-on cocktails and alcohol and extra dishes during the meal. And the restaurant is just a bar and a narrow hallway. Not worth the...

I go to top restaurants in every city I visit. I've actually gotten used to it and was caught off guard because I didn't anticipate how incredible this place was going to be. Everything was perfect. The food was the absolute best, like, I'm still sharing pictures and talking about it. But the service, and the chef, and the atmosphere, and the vibe, the drinks...all tops.
