I understand now why this place has such a low rating. Be prepare to pay a lot! We asked for 2 IPA’s and we paid 278SEK, which is a lot in comparison to the average price. I asked him to show me a price list and he doesn’t have one so I’m pretty sure the prices are made up depending on the clientele. He then tried to explain why this price is so high, because it’s a Sunday night and they are open until 3am, and he is just working there and not making the prices. He told me initially that we chose the most expensive IPA but in reality he chose it for us and I made sure to tell him that, which his response afterwards was that all IPA’s have the same price. I don’t like to be scammed and if you want to drink a craft beer there are a lot of other good places with a price list!

This is one of those complicated places. Hate n Love kind of place. Hate the poor beer knowledge and staff attitude from time to time. There are exceptions of course. Prices are also a bit steep to be honest. Love the convenience when you’re not in the mood for belgos at Pressklubben or Belgobaren or when Bishops is packed with little new on display. Also love the fact they often put great beer on tap. And not just the standard fare, but some pretty decent beers you won’t find in that many places nearby.

Yup. We all know drinks in Sweden are expensive. For me it was a normal pub like you can see easily everywhere which means it's friendly and really easy to get there. Ah, it's quite close from the central station. So if you have time you don't know what do you want to do, just go there, sit, drink and chill out.

Perspective from 18yo woman Only been there at night. Awesome and social staff that remember you. Great music and vibes. I've never felt safe enough in bars to get too drunk, but this bar was a game changer. They watch out for you and check in if they sense your uncomfortable. Great for meeting new people (they asked me and my friend -both 18- if we wanted to join another group, meeting was so smooth and no awkwardness). Really recommend for young people, but even older ones were dancing. Music was neither too loud or quiet. The bartenders are flexible and will adapt their behaviour according to your situation, like offering to take your bag, or handing you water whenever they feel like you had a little much. Met some really nice people I still keep in touch with :) The people there really love their job and their care for your wellbeing doesn't stop when you exit the bar....

Dropped in when i was in stockholm Couldn't even order a drink. Went with my brother and friend on a monthly trip and got refused service. Was asked whether we were swedish or English [ I'm welsh so neitheir] and got told "you're welcome any other day but not today"

This angered me for 2 reasons. Whatever the validity of the rejection of service, nationality shouldn't have been a factor anyway so it's a poisoned chalice of a question. Secondly we were stone cold sober and no reasoning or explanation was provided as to why service was refused.

I can't comment to the quality of the venue or the quality of food/ drink but I can assess the service. I will honestly say its the worse treatment I've experienced. Definitely a blight on what can be considered a.good location and...

When asking for the IBU of the beer and the bartender looked at us with a question mark, was the first hint that he didn’t know what he was doing.

Secondly while ordering a Belgian beer from tap, the same bartender didn’t provide us with the appropriate glass for that beer. Any bartender who knows beer should know that you always serve a Belgian beer with the right glass. It’s very important. It might sound harsh, but this shows the bartender’s knowledge of the beer. The lack of respect of beer and also the attitude of that bartender, sadly makes this no more than normal beer place.

As they do serve really good beer and we have been served by more knowledgeable bartenders here before, is why I give this a 3 instead of a 2.

Maybe we were just unlucky to get a...
