In case of sudden rainfall, the restaurant has a retractable canopy. It is known for its superb Swiss and Mediterranean cuisine and top-notch service.
To experience superb Swiss and Mediterranean cuisine and top-notch service, in September 2019 we ordered Baselland beef fillet with pepper-rum sauce and tortilla (CHF53) and European sea bass filet with Piment d'Espelette sauce and artichoke risotto (CHF46). The beef fillet was very well cooked and tasted delicate. The sea bass had nice flavours and textures. Both dishes came from an excellent kitchen. In addition, there were two incidents that are simply unacceptable in a restaurant of this price category. Four of us ordered the Angus steak (2nd most expensive dish on the menu) and we were asked how done we wanted them. We all picked a different doneness from rare to done. Waitress must have served them randomly because we all ended having a different doneness that we had asked. For example I asked for rare and I got the done one. Being vegetarian the options were barely few but for others it was good. I ordered the veg ones and it was good. Though if you looking for something great on veg side this might not be the best one to go.
My colleagues ordered the non-veg and they told it was good.
Remember it`s an expensive one as it did cost us 235 francs for 4 for Dinner. Considering so many options in the area i think it was on higher end.
