ROBIN'S Bar & Coffee — Restaurant in Zurich

After travelling 2 weeks in Switzerland, I had given up on coffee - and was drinking beer instead!! The coffee was never hot or strong enough - the best I had got was from Lidl's coffee machine 😅 So, I was delighted to find this café today....thanks to other wonderful reviews!! And they're all true!!! There's actually a restaurant and coffee shop beside each other. I went to the restaurant....which was much bigger than I had expected from the entrance. It was lovely and warm inside- and I had a lovely girl serve me (sorry, I didn't get your name). She was really friendly and helpful - and reassured me that I would get a good coffee 😊 Had soup first - which was delicious - and then anxiously waited for my flat white. It was wonderful - had forgotten how good proper coffee tastes 😋 Left buzzing with both caffeine and happiness. Will definitely be my first stop if I'm ever back...

Was exhausted after getting no sleep on a 12 hour flight and the coffee here did the trick! The coffee was smooth delicious and made perfectly- I had enough energy to walk the entire Old Town, New Market plus other areas. Fantastic coffee. Whats even better than the spectacular coffee was the phenomenal service. The barista from Argentina (sorry I forgot your name) was sensational, a true artisan barista and a wonderful conversationalist. After leaving this place, I felt upbeat and motivated and forgot all about how exhausted and drained I was from traveling. Thank you for getting me up and moving so I could explore your beautiful city 💜 They use the glorious La Marzocco so that added an extra touch of expertise to this well- crafted beverage. The bartender tonight is a true artist! The DJ was great, really enjoyed the live music. However, you are blatantly ignored if not a regular customer and it’s just mildly busy. Waited almost twenty minutes for each drink while they took multiple orders from people they recognized who came in long after I was standing at the bar obviously waiting and making eye contact with staff. Very frustrating, disappointing, and cringey. But the drinks are great if you have...
