My friends and I stumbled across this bar one evening when looking for somewhere showing the live football. The owner, Mark, managed to entice us in by treating us like royalty from the word 'Hello.'
Our 1st night was a fantastic one, they catered to our needs (fans, televisions in good view etc) immediately and made sure we were well fed and never went thirsty. They have a great selection of local and imported alcohol, also offering fab smoothies and shakes. The food is to die for, boasting a very wealthy selection of both Thai and Western cuisine, proper English fry-ups and excellent burgers. Also a lovely selection of appetisers/sides to nibble on.
They have live music most nights, which is very intimate, a pool table, and darts board. The even put on a huge BBQ for the patrons.
Toilets and facilities well kept and clean, and one thing I like to note is that on the tables, along with napkins, a bell for service, and the other basic amenities they also offer bug spray, this was fantastic for me and my friends as it was the 1st time we had seen this in a bar/restaurant, this defintiley helped keep us there longer, along with Mark and Mons lovely dog, Floyd.
We made some great friends, had some great conversations and made some brilliant memories with Mark and his family.
We are a little sad our time in Chiang Mai has come to an end and we have to leave, but we will definitely return in the new future. So for anyone reading this, unsure where to go for a decent meal or a quiet drink, I couldn't recommend this enough. Mark's hospitality is second to none, and you won't leave disappointed, that I can promise.
All the best for the future Mark and Mon, see you soon,

Read moreI had three meals here. Very tasty. Comfortable seating. Good size menu.
Evening: Egg mayo sandwich, very generous filling size with small side salad.
Late night: perfect fried rice with nam prix nam pla.
Lunch: English breakfast was nice, tasty sausage, crispy hash brown, nice sunny side up eggs.
Dinner: Beef Penang. Flavour ok..never seen peas, carrots and baby sweetcorn in a Penang before.
Service was passable.
Two small issues: the baguette was very dry, like the bread was from the freezer, but it was toasted to try and hide the fact. Also the sausages were very small and the fried potatoes was 4 cubes.
All in all; a good establishment which I will...
Read moreCame in here by accident when very late for dinner. Although close to closing time the staff made us very welcome and we enjoyed an EXCELLENT and unhurried dinner which was of fantastic value and quality. Since then we have eaten here for several lunches and dinners. The staff are super friendly and attentive, the owner lovely and the Chef superb. Thai food at its best (and my Thai girlfriend knows about Thai food) and big portions! Drinks very reasonable in price. Their house white wine is very acceptable and I know a little about wine. Fabulous place that we will use again. Most highly...
