the place is only 3 tables and a counter, so the vaping and smoking guests in the outdoor seating opening and closing the door suffocated me and ruined my meal. i'll never return for this reason alone. there are other issues- it's pricey ($12 usd for a latte and a "caesar" salad drowning in heinz salad cream), very slow, and cash only.

responding to the owner: "both the internal and external premises of the Benedict cafe prohibit visitors from smoking. Unfortunately, our waiters may not have noticed this unpleasant action that was taking place on the street." try signs. there are no signs inside or outside. tell people when they order. next time you get menus printed, put it on the menus. this wasn't on the street, it was at the tables in front of your shop that you set up. don't gaslight customers, just actually create an environment that doesn't make eating a gross experience. you know very well vapes are illegal.

eta: "caesar" is 100 years old, when someone orders it they aren't expecting special sauce. (Dijon mustard, garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice always, a bit of worcestershire sauce and anchovy paste...

This café is a hidden gem — small, cozy, and full of charm. Perfect for slow mornings and quiet coffee breaks.

The interior makes great use of a compact space. Tables are set up for two, which creates a sense of intimacy, but they can easily be moved around for small groups. The chairs are impressively comfortable, which makes this place ideal if you like to linger, read, or work a bit.

The team here is warm and helpful. They’re happy to guide you through the menu and make thoughtful recommendations. Service is quick, and the food arrives beautifully plated.

Some standouts from my visit: – The avocado toast with poached egg was spot-on. Fresh ingredients, great texture, and the egg was perfectly runny. – The pancakes with berries and honey were soft, light, and just sweet enough — like a hug on a plate. – The oat milk cappuccino was smooth and balanced, with no bitterness and a lovely foam.

The menu has plenty more to explore, and I’m already looking forward to...

Got the eggs Benedict waffles...it came with half a waffle that was hard and dry with only one poached egg and hollandaise sauce without much taste, bacon, avocado, and an a salad that didn't look too good. The iced latte just tasted like milk with no espresso in it. Don't trust reviews. There is a sign that offers a free coffee for anyone who leaves a review, only explanation for their 5 star reviews. Also, a man who appeared to be the owner sat at the table next to us on a laptop but didn't engage us. Motioned the waitress to get us the bill when he overheard is whispering that we should get the bill and head out. Also very overpriced for the quantity and quality of food. 320 TB for my meal.
