Let’s start with the pros.|We booked the pool access room and AC work well in this hot weather. Walkable distance to Kata and Karon Beach.||But will we stay here again? DEFINITELY NOT! |Not sure why the rating on Agoda is above 8 when this place should probably rate below 5, and in my view a ZERO.|The hospitality here is TERRIBLE! Words to describe this resort: Unwelcoming, Rude, Bad communication, Slow, Dated, Dangerous!||Before arrival, we emailed our inquiries but got no response from the resort. |Upon arrival, we noticed 4 staff stationed in the lobby, yet no one greeted us. We proceeded to check-in and were told that our room would only be available at 3pm. |So we requested to leave our luggage at the resort first and yet the staff seemed pretty “nonchalant”.|We left and returned at 3pm for check-in again and were left waiting for a good while before they proceeded to check-in someone else who came after us instead. After a moment later, the staff told us our room was not ready due to some smell. Like seriously? This could be told earlier instead of letting us just wait.||Do take note that a cash deposit of 3000 baht is required. Not so great if you do not want to hold foreign currency upon returning to home country.||When we arrived in the room, we noticed the lack of housekeeping. As we required additional towel, we attempted to call for room service and reception (many times), yet to no avail. So we made our way out to make a request and headed back to our room. A few minutes later, we received a phone call from the reception and the first sentence was “Ma’am, I would like to argue with you.” Like seriously? We were just making a simple request for additional towel. ||At night when we returned to the resort, we requested for bottled water and yet again… it seemed like the staff were up to “challenge” us. So we brought up that bottled water was not replenish when we checked-in.||During our last night stay, one of the room wall fixtures fell off by itself while we were doing absolutely nothing but resting. Thankfully, none of us were hit and injured. The electrical sockets were weirdly positioned right behind our pillows. Sounds pretty dangerous, yeah?||Gym equipment is pretty dated or not functioning. Read moreDuring my stay from oct 10-13, I left with a very unpleasant and unwelcomed taste in my mouth. We had 2 connecting rooms with bathrooms that sme Ylled like urine the entire time. The showerhead would go back and forth from normal to dribbles to normal again with the temperature of the water fluctuating every couple minutes. The reception workers were unfriendly from the moment we checked in. They wanted a deposit which I asked if a credit card would be okay since we has limited cash that we exchanged to be spent in Phuket. They said no, hotel's policy. and I said okay..but then decided to ask why? It doesn't make sense why I have to pay cash. They later changed their mind and said okay credit card is fine. Sounds shady to me. Then during checkout they gave me a hard time about getting it back saying I needed to show proof that I put my credit card down. Um, shouldnt you have that info in your system??
On the last day of our stay, Oct 13th we had breakfast in their dining area (which had very limited selections by the way), we saw a large rat across the floor. Another table saw it too and also the workers nearby. My table and the other table looked at the workers to see if they were going to do anything about it. No one did. I was shocked as I didn't feel like they thought it was a big deal. It ran across the dining hall a second time and more people saw and a couple people screamed. This time I finally saw someone make a phone call, hopefully to resolve the problem of the rat being inside an area where food is prepared and cool with guests eating. I lost my appetite after that. My family and I left the room immediately after that.
I will not recommend this hotel "resort" to anyone. Unfriendly reception staff, rat problems, smelly hotel bathrooms, no iron board or iron. This place...

They fine for everything, oil from your hair gets on the bedding £45 charge, my child dropped a glass.. charge, they even charge if you lose a teaspoon! They didn’t even ask if my son was ok, just a letter in the room with a charge. They tried to charge for a telephone that was never in the room to start with, they make guests feel like you can’t relax as they charge for everything, I think they forget guests have paid to stay!|I felt like I couldn’t enjoy a day out as I was worried about what letters with charges would be waiting.|The family rooms are on the third floor with no lift, if you check out at night they will tell you there’s no porter & expect you to carry your suitcase down the stairs.|They do not clean the rooms, just sweep the sand and make the bed. Housekeeping does not even have any cleaning products. Staying for 2 weeks the rooms should be cleaned! The ‘clean’ towels are filthy & grey, ‘clean’ bedding is stained.|The pool is full of green algae around the edges and the communal toilet is always dirty. |The staff at the pool bar cannot calculate properly. They didn’t charge us for something and on our return from a day out there was a group of staff waiting for us with our passport photos in the lobby as if we were criminals. So humiliating!|A water tanker delivers water throughout the morning, so you will not sleep in as the lorry is right outside the room beeping as it reverses at 7am!|Honestly save your money and book another hotel, you couldn’t pay me to...
