HASH Burger and More — Restaurant in Karon

Got mixed feelings here.

Prices: around 450 THB for a burger + coffee. A bit above average for Karon.

Food: very strange feeling - on one hand fresh ingredients create the impression that the food is of high quality, on the other hand - fries were undersalted, there was no sauce on the burger (maybe there was a little salty mustard, but I'm not sure if I imagined it), which is why it was incredibly dry, cappuccino was sprinkled with so much cinnamon that the last quarter of the cup of coffee had to be chewed rather than drunk. It seems like the cooks themselves have never tasted what they cook. Maybe they don't care, because the location guarantees tourists.

Interior: stylish, comfortable chairs. But my table was wobbly, and the small tables (for 2) are located on the passage between two exits of the establishment, which is why constant gusts of wind blow everything off the table. If the chefs figure out the recipe without losing the quality of the ingredients, the establishment has a chance to become the best burger place in Karon/Kata, but...

Its dangerous to eat at that place!

I ate a burger at there in the late evening of 05.09.25 and became ill the same night/early morning. I have been vomiting for 3 days after that, and the doctor i visited told me I had an acute gastroenteritis.

As that burger was the only thing I ate that my girlfriend didn’t in the previous 2 days (and she wasn’t ill), it was that burger for sure. I even thought that it tasted slightly strange but sadly didnt think about it too long. Note: i always take precautions when eating, washing hands thoroughly and using sanitizer, and not eating in strange places, so I thought the place advertised in my house’s elevator would be safe

Also: After visiting the hospital i was prescribed antibiotics and overall had to get to the point where i stop throwing up all food after more...

Ok there's a few things you need to know if you want a burger. Arrive hungry, it's delicious and you won't want to leave any. It comes to the table so fast after you order it you won't be ready. So open that drink, get the sauces ready. This is a juicy burger, don't stress about any mess, wear and old T-Shirt.

The sign says "Probably the best burger on Phuket". All I can say is that I haven't had better, on Phuket, in Thailand or anywhere else. This was the best burger of my life.

They have a completely open kitchen, you can see how they cook your food. It is perfectly clean.

To the owner, whatever you're paying the chef double it.
