Dome Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Karon

We came to Dome Restaurant around 8pm and it was extremely busy. Our wait for our food took between 15 minutes for the first dish to 40 mins for our last to arrive.

The seafood fried rice was okay, it had some calamari and crab! My brother thoroughly enjoyed his pork steak and fries, which did take a very long time to come however. Our stir-fried vegetable dish was also enjoyable!

I ordered Chicken Radd Nah which was not what it should have been it all; extremely wet like a soup and so salty. The serving sizes were small for every dish, albeit was ฿90 for this Radd Nah, there were barely any vegetables and nearly no noodles in this dish that wasn't supposed to be a soup.

We also ordered some stir fried beef which was extremely overcooked and was like eating rubber. The flavour was just burnt, texture horrible and so dry. Wouldn't recommend ordering fried beef...

Also the restaurant doesn't have chopsticks.

I understand we came during a very busy time but the servers tended to forget which dish goes where, and there weren't an adequate amount of staff to cook, serve and pass the bill. The food was also subpar and we didn't enough...

Really good price compared to the rest of Kata beach. Unfortunately they don’t have anything vegan in their menu, but they seem to be used to adapt it based on customer request. In the end it was kind of my safe haven as I came here 3 times during my stay. Got a Pad Thai, fried rice with vegetables and lastly a papaya salad and green curry. Was passing by and noticed the menu was varied and reasonably priced. I ordered the pork and cashew dish with rice and husband the seafood spaghetti. Both dishes were flavourful and delicious!
