Profound Disappointment with Exorbitant Prices, Inaccurate Presentation, and Unpleasant Aftermath.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment following our recent dining experience at your restaurant. Despite the overall service being acceptable, several significant issues marred what should have been a special evening. Firstly, coordinating the serving of dishes seemed to be a complicated task, requiring request to various staff members to ensure all guests received their meals simultaneously. Basic service principles dictate that no one should dine alone or have their food grow cold while waiting for others. Turning to the culinary aspect, finding positive points becomes increasingly challenging.

Allow me to provide detailed insights into the specific disappointments we encountered: The tuna tartare lacked flavor, necessitating the addition of salt and pepper for any semblance of taste. The haloumi was excessively salty, bordering on inedible. The halibut was neither fresh nor properly cooked, resembling a dish from my childhood cafeteria—an unexpected disappointment given Phuket's proximity to the sea. The porcini pasta with bacon suffered from the use of non-fresh bacon. The crab pasta presented an unexpected sweetness that was perplexing.

Prices were exorbitant, and our expectations were not met in the slightest. To be completely honest, this was the worst dining experience we've encountered in Phuket at this price point (we all live in Phuket for about ten years). Opting for McDonald's would have been a preferable choice.

Adding to our dismay was the lack of engagement from the manager. As we were leaving, we observed the manager's presence, but he did not approach us to inquire about our experience or address any concerns. It leads me to speculate that perhaps he was aware of the quality of the food and chose not to face us.

To compound matters, I added an extra tip of 1,500 THB to the original 10% service charge.

The combination of exorbitant prices, disappointing food quality, and the additional tip made this occasion particularly disheartening, especially considering it was my wife's birthday.

Furthermore, the original pictures posted are a blatant misrepresentation. The dishes served to us were far from the enticing images portrayed online. In an unfortunate turn of events, a significant number of the 15 guests in our party experienced discomfort during the night. This adds another layer of concern to an already...

WORST EXPERIENCE OF PHUKET!!! We paid for the Atlantic halibut fish 999 Baht and it was the worst over cooked smelly watery fish, with uncooked risotto in which I complain to them and they gave the risotto back 10min after 😬. The beef carpaccio for 699 baht and it did look like it was far from 190G quantity in it. I was on a first date I didn't want to complain to much but the next day I've contacted the restaurant to tell them that we BOTH got food poisoning from there and they DID NOT want to hear anything. I stayed at their resort and puke all night so they have proof + pharmacy bill if needed ! I was so sick for two days I report it to the local health department so they don't get more people sick, never know what is behind their kitchen. The place was empty so I understand why. the only positive things was this place was absolutely gorgeous , what a shame !!!! They probably changed their chef because of so many past review and none are recent as you can see

I recently visited Moon Terrace, and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t full, especially since the experience was so amazing. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect, allowing us to fully take in the stunning, panoramic views—truly unforgettable!

Our servers, Ann and Ice, were both exceptional. They were warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Their friendly service added to the overall amazing experience.
