Wait. Let me explain… It was Sunday around evening twilight. The restaurant was very empty yet vibrant with neon chandelier and 80s Italian music in the background. This is amazing for an introvert, I thought with secret giggle. The waiter greeted, we sorted the wine which he generously let me tested a couple of labels and I chose the driest one, as dry as my humor which is insufferably satisfying. (see appendix image). For the starter I picked spaghetti alla bottarga which is a Sardinia specialty. The pasta was homemade and fresh like Nonna cooked it. Reminded me of eating glorious food overlooking Sardinia Sea in the summer. You see, I am a Sardinia fanatic and I was pleased to find this dish in Bangkok. And pair with the vino secco, muah🤌🏽✨ Then the main course was the mussel with Amalfi sauce, oh la la it was perfect! White sauce infused with parsley and lots of black pepper. Clean the dish with bread dipping in the sauce.🤌🏽🥖 Wow, you must have had a lot of time reading this nonsensical opinion of mine . But thank you nonetheless for reading it. We went here because of the good reviews, despite the admin team not accepting any negative criticism.
Marco, who extremely hospitable as a person, but honestly his team needs to improve their service skills.
The pasta was extremely undercooked (as Marco confirmed this 3 times in consecutive manner).
They have two versions of the menu with double pricing. We were charged 720 baht for a rissotto which on the menu said 360 THB.
We ordered a glass of wine and was over charged by 100 THB.
(We left before beinng refunded, but what the team has to understand its about the principle).
Staff also laughed at us being overcharged while at the same time admitting it.
On a really positive note, the restaurant decor was really okay!
