[When in Bangkok,Thailand] WOW 🤩…Friendly, warm atmosphere & ofcourse delicious Padthai served with a smile 😊
On my way hunting for padthai, I got distracted by this gem along Soi 22. Greeted by the lovely & energetic “Monica” & graceful “Grace”. Both with such kind and warm smiles, provided a lovely presence & great suggestions, not forgetting having the patience for my indecisive brain to order. 😬Maybe it’s just me, but loved the chill commercial music 🎶 , which contrasted the bustling commotion known to Soi 22.
Without further ado, these dishes made their way to my table, which I’ll return for the mango 🥭 sticky rice again👇
Padthai Goong w/ prawn: Pad Thou Ngok w/ jasmine rice: Mango sticky rice Sticky rice:
AND both Grace & Monica despite being super busy preparing for a large reservation, made time to help me get a charger to revive🪫 my phone battery. And it got super BUSY but Monica & graceful Grace & chefs managed perfectly under the pressure.
Thanks to both of you Monica & Grace, the front man & the kitchen chefs for your magic 👩🍳

Read moreI’m puzzled by the abundance of 5 star reviews for this place. If I had knew the food would be this disappointing, I would walk straight into the nearest 7/11 for instant noodles instead. The chefs should be ashamed of what they put on the plate, if this is Thai food then MAMA tom yum instant noodles should be considered 3 stars Michelin.
Grilled pork has got absolutely no flavor and I was hoping the chilli dip would help but was left even more disappointed. Noodles was the worst, they could have just poured the entire bottle of dark soy sauce cause that’s all I can taste. Also ordered prawn roll, apart from a whole prawn inside the dumpling skin there was nothing else and all the serving were small and very expensive for the quality and quantity served. After being to Thailand for more than 30 times in my life, I declare this place the top 3 most horrible restaurant I’ve...
Read moreJust opposite Holiday Inn Sukumvit Soi 22 is this quaint little Authentic Thai cuisine place...clean and absolutely authentic unadulterated Thai experience. Having been using it for more than 7 years now. Was pleasantly surprised to come back after 18 months and find the Alley has closed down most of known fancy joints but Baan Tassanee continues its fares...all the same Authentic taste.
Try out their selection of Larb Gai and Spicy Sea food salads..they are heavenly. Also one of the most Authentic Tom Kha or Tom Yam Goong. Also must try remains their pork dishes. Ic you are in Bangkok and staying at Sukumvit Area..do drop by for really cheap excellent Thai cuisine ...nothing fancy but really fresh good food and curated as per your required spice level.
