Hangang Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Subdistrict

*The service is very disappointing.

*They gave me the wrong order that cost me more than I planned almost +50%.

*No manners all of them including the owner.

*The food is alright but nothing special about them. You can find in other Korean restaurants nearby.

The story: I ordered Korean bento on the menu written 150฿. Literally, pointed finger on the picture. When the food came, it doesn’t look like the same menu on the picture so I checked with the waitress in Thai and she confirmed that it is correct. I didn’t finish this doubtful dish because it tasted not right and unexpected. I have a feeling that it’s not my order so I decided to checkout. The bill was 250฿ + water 20฿ = 270฿. It’s not about how much it cost but it’s about honesty, I didn’t order this and I checked before I ate.. I feel so uncomfortable like getting robbed from this restaurant. I asked the restaurant owner and waitress in the most polite way. The most respectful they can give me was the disrespect that they said it’s my mistake. They claimed that I did order kimchi fried rice which personally I dislike this menu. So now I let them know in the most calming way as possible because as soon as I mentioned their facial expressions and reaction was speaking their mind. Imagine talking to someone who is Mrs. Right. I continued my true intention that I want them to know what they’re doing to me. No problem here. They made mistake and I’m willingly to pay for it but wanted to warn them that this is not acceptable for my next visit. Then the last straw was the owner, she said sorry but her face is completely opposite. The attitude.. I won’t come back here again. Every time I visited here I like the feeling of homie like Korean friends next door. But this is as homie like robbing from a gang. Such a disappointment that they failed on the most easiest task is the attention of customer’s order.

This reflects everything about the restaurant. The working system. There will forever be no room of improvement because they’re full of themselves. I can’t eat with such a dishonesty and...

วันนี้เรากับแฟนมีความตั้งใจมาทานอาหารเกาหลีที่Korean Townมาก ในตอนแรกเราไม่รู้ว่าจะทานร้านไหน เราดูรีวิวคราวๆมีหลายร้านที่น่าสนใจ ในสุดก็ลองเลือกร้านนี้ เพราะดูรีวิวผ่านๆเห็นว่าเจ้าของเป็นคนเกาหลีที่น่ารัก เราจึงอยากลองดู เราสั่งอาหารไป3อย่างก่อนเพราะไม่รู้ว่าปริมาณจะมามากหรือน้อย เราได้รับคำแนะนำว่าลองดูก่อนถ้าไม่พอก็สั่งเพิ่ม แต่ไม่มีคำแนะนำเรื่องเมนูที่ควรลอง แต่ก็ไม่เป็นไร ฉันสั่งซุปหอยตลับได้มาอย่างแรกรสชาติมันอร่อยมากๆ ส่วนเนื้อสันนอกย่าง พนักงานนำไปย่างที่จุดย่างไม่ห่างจากโต๊ะ ไม่ได้มีการนำเนื้อมาโชว์ให้ดูก่อนย่าง และแปลกใจเล็กน้อยที่เขาไม่มาย่างให้ที่โต๊ะ เมื่อพนักงานย่างเสร็จก็นำมาให้ ไม่ได้มีคำแนะนำในการทานว่าให้ลองทานแบบใด น้ำจิ้มมี2แบบฉันก็ลองหยิบๆจับๆใส่ไปตามที่น่าจะเป็นกินกับผักและเครื่องเคียง เครื่องเคียงมีให้หลายอย่างฉันไม่รู้ว่าสามารถขอเพิ่มได้ไหม ฉันได้รับการเติมถั่วงอกแค่1ครั้งซึ่งฉันเพิ่งกันไปเล็กน้อย ส่วนเครื่องเคียงอื่นที่หมดฉันก็ไม่ได้รับการเติม คิมบับรสชาติธรรมดาไม่ทำให้ฉันตื่นเต้นเท่าไหร่รวมถึงเนื้อด้วย แต่น้ำจิ้มและเครื่องเคียงอร่อยทุกอย่าง ต่อมาฉันสั่งหมี่เย็นมาลองฉันขอคำแนะนำว่าเมนูนี้อร่อยไหม.พนักงานบอกว่าอร่อยให้ลองเมื่อหมี่ได้แล้ว พนักงานแนะนำให้ฉันปรุงรสเพิ่มนิดหนึ่งแต่ฉันขอชิมก่อนพบว่ามันอร่อยมากแล้วจึงเติมแค่มัสตาร์ดไปนิดหน่อยหมี่เย็นให้รสเปรี้ยวๆหอมสดชื่นมากๆ โดยรวมอาหารทุกอย่างที่สั่งฉันชอบซุปหอยตลับที่สุด สุดท้ายแล้วพวกเราก็กินไม่หมดขอห่อกลับบ้าน ทางร้านก็ห่อให้ฉันขอให้ช่วยห่อกิมจิที่เหลือพนักงานแจ้งว่าห่อไม่ได้ ฉันก็ไม่ซีเรียสอาจเพราะเป็นของที่ร้านให้แต่แฟนฉันชอบมากจึงสั่งข้าวมาเพิ่มให้เขากินกับกิมจิที่เขาชอบ ข้าวร้อนๆรสชาติอร่อย ในระหว่างที่เรานั่งทาน ในร้านคนไม่เยอะมาก เจ้าของร้านนั่งคุยกับเพื่อนดูท่าทางยิ้มแย้มเป็นกันเอง ก่อนกลับได้ไปเข้าห้องน้ำห้องน้ำสะอาดมากๆ ฉันคิดว่าครั้งหน้าจะมาลองเมนูอื่นๆอีกครั้ง เมื่อฉันกลับมาฉันตั้งใจจะเขียนรีวิวให้ร้าน.ฉันทำอย้างนี้เสมอเมื่อไปทานที่ไหนเพื่อแบ่งปันประสบการณ์ให้คนอื่น ก่อนเขียนฉันได้อ่านรีวิวที่บางคนเขียนถึงกับตกใจมากๆกับประสบการณ์ที่ไม่ดีที่พวกเขาเขียนว่าร้านไม่รับหากมาคนเดียว แล้วฉันเป็นคนชอบไปไหนคนเดียว เพราะหยุดไม่ตรงกับแฟน แล้วก็เรื่องที่เจ้าของร้านชอบเร่งให้ทานและเชิญให้ลูกค้าออกจากร้านทั้งทียังทานไม่เสร็จเนื่องจากมีคนรอคิว ฉันยอมรับว่าอ่านแล้วตกใจมาก ตอนเข้ามาพนักงานและเจ้าของร้านยิ้มแย้มทักมายเป็นอย่างดี แต่สิ่งต่างๆเหล่านี้ไม่เกิดกับฉัน พวกเขาปล่อยให้เราทานไปเรื่อยๆไม่มีการกดดัน เจ้าของก็ไม่มีท่าทีที่ไม่เป็นมิตร ตอนคิดเงินเขาก็ยิ้มแย้มดูใจดี ฉันแนะนำว่าหากคนอยากเปิดประสบการณ์ฉันแนะนำว่าควรมาลองทานดู พวกเขาอาจจะปรับปรุงแล้ว...

Very bad place!

Lady boss told us there are no seats at the first floor and we took a lift up to so called another of their “outlet” called Mong restaurant..

We felt uneasy because the restaurant looks shady and lighting is very orangey.

During ordering, lady boss showed unhappiness when we didnt order soju (we didnt feel like drinking nor eating alot). Probably she was hoping to earn big bucks from tourist.

At the end, we ordered the tofu stew and hotstone bibimbap.. and oh boy the soup tasted so bland.. the bibimbap ingredients didnt taste fresh and rice was mushy.

The sides (they didnt give it to us).. we asked for it.. and dont bother.. the kimchi looks rotten but still a 1/10 for taste.

The atmosphere and attitude and food makes this place -10/10.. go at...
