I would give this place a 3 star but it’s literally right next to jageumsung and there would be no reasons to come here other than for the 300 baht all u can eat deal... we tried it. I was forcing myself to eat the rest of the meat cause there is a 200 baht fine for leaving too much left overs. Meat is horrible quality. Pork is super thin and they don’t serve u korean sauces. You might as well go to a Thai mookata and bring a side of kimchi as it’s pretty much the same thing. Took a while to explain and get sesame seed oil. They use a coal fire but the coal smelt a bit chemical and I can taste it in the meat. They also charge u for water which jageumsung doesn’t. All in all you’ll pay the same price possibly less cause they don’t charge for water if u just got two meat dishes next door but they serve you legit korean sauces and the side dishes are more palatable. Unless you’re super hungry and can take advantage of the all u can eat, I wouldn’t even consider this place. Quite frankly I am more than full w the unlimited servings of side dishes and generous portions of their meat...
Read moreIt was my first time visiting Korean Town in BKK, and out of all the restaurants there, this one felt especially cozy. A male waiter even welcomed us warmly before we stepped inside.
The service was excellent—especially thanks to the Myanmar male waiter who took care of us. We were a group of three, and he kindly encouraged us to try more dishes and gave great recommendations. His friendly and attentive service made our meal even more enjoyable.
It was a buffet for only 300 baht, with free-flow drinks and a wide variety of tasty side dishes. There were so many options, we couldn’t even try them all!
As for the food, the meat was incredibly tender. We especially enjoyed the entrails and pork rinds—they were soft, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
The air conditioning was also great, which made a big difference coming in from the hot and humid weather outside.
A truly pleasant dining experience! Highly...
Read moreA mid-range restaurant offering really good value if you are having the beef or pork BBQ buffet. A la carte dishes also reasonably priced. Decent quality meat with delicious marinade - I had the beef sirloin, the belly pork and the ox tongue. The side dishes (kimchi, et al) were excellent. The ginseng chicken was pretty good too - flavoursome chicken stuffed with rice in thick soup that was on the edge of being too salty - only complaint is that the taste was ginseng was overpowered by the other flavours. Service was prompt, but there was a limited choice of beverages. The restaurant is in Sukhumvit Plaza along the main road (Sukhumvut Road junction Sukhumvit 12 Alley). I had difficulty finding it when I followed the directions on...
