Melly Sukhumvit — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Subdistrict

So part of an expert dinner group we decided to do a dinner here tonight a restaurant I’ve never heard of luckily we found this restaurant because it is very good!

The girls here in terms of service are excellent !

Food is very reasonably priced ! There was a group last so we ordered quite a few different things from chicken salad to the chimichanga and of course the tacos were a hit ! Baja fish 🐠 tacos , chicken 🍗 tacos, the chimichanga was huge like massive, the burger 🍔 was a very good size for very good price! Everyone ordered the same dessert 🍨 which was the coconut 🥥 cake and it was light airy and had lots of whipped cream which was awesome it wasn’t just whipped cream coconut 🥥 whip whipped cream so it was really good ! 😊 although one of my friends ordered a raspberry sorbet and chocolate 🍫 cookie 🍪 crumble which was also excellent!

I ordered one of the dish which is on the very front page of the menu where it is like barbecue pork ribs with the peanuts 🥜 the dried garlic chili 🌶️ peppers cucumbers and lettuce I love that dish and I can’t remember what it’s called but they ran out of the pork that comes with a dish so I asked him to replace it with the spare ribs And they gladly did! Most restaurants would say no but these guys said yes and I was very happy about that! I also ordered the spicy chicken roll .. again very different from a normal chicken spring roll!

Highly recommend this place go check it out I will definitely be back and I don’t often say that! Located very conveniently on Sukhumvit Soi 20 in a side alley!

It’s quite cozy comfortable and it’s like you’re sitting inside a garden inside!!

I ended up taking a bunch of food home because it was really good price and good portions !

Not really sure on how to describe this restaurant. Quite a lot of Thai dishes on the menu but I came for the Mexican dishes. The chips and salsa were very good as was the pork tacos with their hot salsa. The pork tacos were served with corn tortillas. I have to say the salsa flavors on both of these dishes wasn’t what I would call traditional but it was delicious.

The stars of this meal were the fish tacos and the spring rolls. The fish tacos had the perfect amount of seared fish with a very flavorful aioli sauce, served on flour tortillas. The spring rolls were like nothing I have had before. They are filled with a marinaded pork and I think fresh cabbage. It was a fusion of an Asian spring roll and a Mexican flauta. Very interesting and yummy. Washed down with a Thai iced tea. The total bill came to less than 900 baht. Very good value for money and one of the best non Thai meals I have had here in Bangkok.

Recently returned and can confirm my 5 star review. This time I ordered just a classic burger with fries. The burger was a double patty smash burger on a brioche bun. It just needed slightly more seasoning (salt/pepper) but otherwise it was tasty with the toasted bun, bacon, cheese, and pickle. Not crazy about their house burger sauce however.

The steak fries however blew me away. Maybe the best thick cut potatoes fries I have ever had. Perfectly crisply but tender on the inside. They reminded me of Belgium twice...

A Hidden Gem – Best Restaurant in Bangkok!

Melly Restaurant is an absolute hidden gem and easily my favourite place to eat in Bangkok. The food is outstanding, every dish I tried was fantastic, but the Massaman Curry was truly unforgettable.]

The service is just as impressive. The staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive, always topping up drinks, clearing plates promptly, and making sure everything is perfect, all while making you feel relaxed and unrushed.

The interior is elegant and welcoming, with a high-end feel and a lovely atmosphere that adds to the experience.

After my first visit, I ended up dining here every night for the rest of my trip and I don’t regret it one bit. Every dish I tried was delicious and full of flavour.
