I would give 6 stars if it was possible! We have stopped and eaten here twice in 2 days. And that’s because we discovered it only at the end of our stay. It a lovely little restaurant in an old traditional house, a bit tucked away between Chit Lom and Lumphini park. The “cadre” is sweet, familiar, elegant in a quaint way. The service is the Thai hospitality at its best, as those familiar with it know well. The food is extremely good. I would suggest especially the dishes that are not the familiar Tom Yum soups (delicious, but we all know them!), but the more traditional/grandmother’s special ones. If you are vegetarian try the tofu and bean sprouts dish. I ate it so fast and enjoyed it so much that I forgot to take a picture. The rice gruel, if you need to give your stomach a rest from the spicy hot, but still want a comforting tasty dish. The grand mother stew, the curry. The absolute top, to end your meal or for your afternoon break or for a sweet breakfast is any of the following: mango sticky rice (a classic, but oh so yummy!) and the flowers of which I forgot the name but that you can see in my pictures. And some of which are coming with me back home…if I can be strong 😁! Reading some of the past reviews I saw complaints about the wait. We never waited more than necessary. And what I mean is that if your food is prepared from scratch, not out of the fridge/microwave or cans, I am more than happy to wait what it takes! One more thing, they are open from 7.30 am to 11pm. And they will serve you whatever you desire whenever you want it. And always with a wonderful smile and extreme kindness. What can one...

With its tiny, super cozy setting, it's like stepping into a lovingly decorated house living room. The home theme decorations create an ambiance that's not just warm; it's genuinely inviting.
The waitresses here don't just serve you; they welcome you as if you're a guest visiting their home. It's a very homey experience that's rare to find these days. And the food? Oh, the food! Excellent cooking, attractive presentations, and authentic Thai cuisine that will make your taste buds pleased. I really loved their dishes; each bite was a delightful surprise.
The only downside is that the place can't accommodate large groups due to limited space and tables. But that's part of what makes it special. It's intimate and personal, a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a catch-up with a close friend.
In conclusion, if you're in the area and craving some top-notch Thai food in a setting that feels like home, don't miss this place. It's a 5-star experience all the way, and I can't wait to go back.

Read moreThe most horrendous experience I ever had. Service was terribly slow, and I saw other tables receiving orders faster than I did. We had to wait for 1 hour, and our order given was wrong too!
In fact, it was wrong twice.
The service was the worst level of service I ever experienced in Thailand, and everytime we asked when our order will arrive, the waitress kept saying 10 minutes. At one point, when we said the order was wrong, the waitress even pushed the blame to the other staff?!
The restaurant was also a mosquito breeding ground, and every mosquito heaven with the amount of the time customers are forced to stay in the restaurant.
Given the EXTREMELY LONG waiting time, customers are forced to remain in the restaurant for long hours of time, while being exposed to mosquitos.
Next, the food. For the price you are paying, you would expect spectacular food, but it was so average that I was beyond speechless. I felt like I wasted my time and stomach and blood eating this meal.
I would rather eat 7-11 food.
Please if you are deciding whether to come here, please DO NOT COME. You are better off eating 7-11 sandwiches than coming to this terrible place that made me lose faith in Thailand service...
