Chef Goji and I go some time back. I've known him ever since he first arrived in BKK and lit up the scene more than 7 years back. As Chef Goji discovered to his delight, I do not live in BKK. No work trip to BKK would be complete without a visit. And I make trips up just to dine with him. The latest was the weekend of 26-27 September 2025. Dinner and then lunch the next day before I flew home. Hedonistic perhaps but SO worth the visit! Dining with Chef Goji is not just about good food. He is trusted and I just leave myself in his good hands. And he is a great conversationalist. So dedicated to his craft and ceaselessly passionate. Hence, it is always a joy to drop by!

We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at Sushi Kuuya, and it couldn't have been a better choice! Located conveniently near Kimpton Maa-Lai and Sindhorn Kempinski, this gem offers a fantastic omakase experience. Chef Kobayashi's skills were on full display. Every course, crafted with the freshest ingredients, was a delight. The sake pairing perfectly complemented the flavors, and Chef Kobayashi even had us enjoying raw squid! The intimate atmosphere and Chef Kobayashi's friendly personality made the evening truly special. Highly recommend!

Certainly the best sushi restaurant in Thailand. It is as good as any of the best sushi restaurants I have visited in Japan. The staff are amazing and so knowledgeable about every aspect of the food and drink. Goji is absolutely incredible. He is a genius and prepares the most amazing and freshest sushi. The sake pairing was also wonderful. I would not be surprised if this place becomes very very popular soon so visit now! Make sure to make a reservation. I will definitely be back soon.
