I have been to quite a few cafes in Bangkok which have a more cosy and homely decor but those cafe in most instances have unfortunately failed on the food side. However, little sunshine cafe was different! Absolutely loved the homey, warm and pleasant vibe in the cafe. If you actually look closely inside the cafe, you can see the owner has invested a lot of time and money in the small detailing and decor of the cafe. Loved every bit of it and would highly recommend my near and dears. On the food front? I had creamy truffle pasta and it’s certainly one of the best truffle pastas I have had in my life. I loved every bit of it!! It’s so delicious that i’d want to be back for it. We enjoyed some of their cakes too.
The cafe is run by a dietitian so you can see the love and concern that’s poured on to each dish. Just a suggestion being a vegetarian: I hope there were more options for a vegetarian 🌱
I also received a cute lil new years gift which ‘brightened’ up...
Read moreTucked away in a little side street around the corner from Conrad’s, my wife and I found this spot and so glad we did! We looked forward to our breakfast every morning whilst staying in Bangkok. If I could rate this cafe 10/10 I would. The decor has a French provincial feel and the food is Thai/western fusion, ranging from the most amazing bacon and egg breakfast, to Thai style omelette, pork and rice bowl or even croissant batter waffles (croffals) filled with delicious custard topped with ice cream. We ate here as often as w could and even had our First year wedding Anniversary breakfast here, (we are from Australia). The coffee is outstanding and the name is certainly fitting as it brought a whole lot of sunshine to our day starting off with the most delicious breakfast we have had, would go as far to say this was the best place we ate in Bangkok. Recommend 100 percent to anyone!! We loved little miss sunshine and sad to go as there is nothing like...
Read moreSunshine cafe A cosy cafe located in a residential building (if im not wrong). We came for brunch and the settig and atmosphere was good -rustic interiors with cutesy furnitures. Despite the cafe have alot of decorative items and knick knacks, they are dust free and clean - which is a plus.
Their menu is quite extensive with breakfast items as well as pastas. My partner and i opted for the pasta (mine was just simple oil based one and his was cream based). Both of them were super tasty and i thoroughly enjoyed it! The flavours were there and its not salty at all. Even my partner;s cream based pasta wasn’t too heavily cream based such that there is still a depth of flavour to it. I also had a hot dark chocolate and upon first taste, it reminded me so much of the taste valrhona cocoa drink i had when young! Nice!
As of my last visit there on 16th june, they only accept cash and bank transfer (thai bank i think?) so rmb to bring...
