I walked into this Starbucks basically dead inside and walked out a completely different human being.

I had a terrible experience at the Gaysorn branch on Tuesday, 7 January 2025. My sister arrived first and ordered two drinks. When I joined her, she was working on her laptop, so I sat at the adjacent table, just 5 millimetres away, to give her more space. A staff member approached me with a drinks menu and was very insistent that I place an order, even after I explained that I was part of the same group and my sister had already ordered two drinks. They claimed another customer needed the table I was sitting at, despite there being multiple empty tables available at the time. This treatment made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. My sister and I were paying customers, and we were not occupying excessive space. The rigid and unnecessary enforcement of table usage was both rude and completely uncalled for.
