The food in general is okay but not worth the pricepoint. I woild give it a 2.5/5 but there is no such option, and I am not willing to let people see that the food is a 3/5.
Ordered a Pizza, Seabass Rissoto, Pork chop and a plate of spaghetti.
The Pizza is the best of the bunch. The crust is not too hard and the salami on top comes in great portion and is not oily.
The Rissoto comes in second. The rice is alright, but the seabass on top is too dry and tasteless.
Spaghetti is alright. Looks good visually. But there are some portion issues. I believe the picture shows more than one prawn but we only received one piece of prawn. There is also not enough squid ink on the dish making it too dry.
Porkshop is as hard as a rock. The worse 600 thb porkchop I have eaten in a while.
Service
The service is at best mediocore. One staff looks friendly but most show no expression, giving off an uncomfortable vibe. What made the service a 2/5 is that I have to wait about 10 minutes before the waiter is able to bring my drink (Bottle of water). I don't think water should take this long to arrive when there are only 10 tables with a dozen of staffs. The first impression was not good. Another thing to note is that I am stunned by the 10% service charge at the end when there is in fact no quality service provided. With the pricepoint and the service charge % I do expect waiters to be more active. I also saw a senior waiter having trouble with a middle eastern accent of the table close to us, then proceeds to complain and ramble to himself in thai, in front of the customer afterwards. These are some of the things you don't want to see in a restaurant.
Atmosphere
The restaurant is well designed. Tables are not too compact and there is a nice water fall for you to look at when you have to wait 10 minutes for the drink and mediocore...
