🍽️ Here Hai @ Siam Paragon – Michelin Name, Disappointing Reality
I walked into Here Hai at Siam Paragon with high expectations, trusting its Michelin-acclaimed reputation. But after this meal, I feel compelled to speak out — because what I experienced today was not deserving of a Michelin status, not even close.
🌟 To the Michelin Guide: I urge you to re-evaluate how your name is being used across multiple branches. The original recipe might be there, but the cooking standards, execution, and value at this particular outlet are severely lacking. A Michelin title represents excellence, consistency, and culinary integrity — none of which I found here.
🍲 What we ordered: Fried Cabbage with Fish Sauce & Pork Crackling (170 Baht) This dish was shockingly salty, and the cabbage was undercooked — crunchy in the wrong way. For the price, I expected a refined version of a humble classic, but this felt like a careless kitchen effort. (See photo for reference.) Stir-Fried Mantis Shrimp with Garlic & Pepper (455 Baht) Another disappointment. While the mantis shrimp was a premium ingredient, it was again over-seasoned, making it hard to enjoy. Salt seemed to overpower every other flavor on the plate.
💸 Total bill, nearly 650 Baht — for two poorly executed dishes.
In such a prestigious location and with a Michelin label, diners deserve more than just branding. This experience felt like a cash grab hiding behind a name that no longer represents the quality it promises — at least not at this branch.

⚠️ Bottom Line: Michelin status should not be used lightly — and certainly not as a marketing tool when the food doesn’t uphold its name. Disappointed, overpriced, and not worth the hype.
Both dishes were below Michelin standard and we were very disappointed as we...
Read moreIn summary, the crab meat fried rice is good, but not outstanding, and be prepared for a 40 to 70-minute wait, and a frustratingly unreliable and biased queue system. This is a longer review, but stick with it for a helpful tip at the end.
Intrigued by the positive reviews, I decided to try the crab meat fried rice. I expected a 30 to 45-minute wait and was willing to accept it. However, the order process was incredibly frustrating. After paying, the counter staff gave me a receipt indicating a 32-minute wait. Upon returning at the specified time, I was given a beeper, and then waited an additional 30 minutes. Finding the wait excessively long, I approached the stall. The staff assured me my order was next. Four others were waiting, and one woman began asking everyone about their wait times. I had been waiting over an hour, while she had only waited 30 minutes.
The situation became infuriating when her beeper rang, and she received the same order as mine. When I questioned the delay, the staff simply repeated that my order was next. Even when the woman mentioned her order was for takeout and I should have the order first, they hesitated to serve me. Furthermore, another customer, claiming to have a flight in 10 minutes, was offered expedited service. Perhaps this tactic could shorten your wait, but it seems to depend entirely on the staff's mood and whim.
Update: They appear to be opening a larger stall soon, which hopefully will reduce wait times for everyone. However, it's worth noting that there are other, equally good (or better) fried rice options available elsewhere, and often at a much...

Insane Lump Crab Meat Fried Rice Which one of the best crab meat fried rice i've ever tasted, with huge lumps of crab meat which were divine 👌 soft texture, umami taste.
Omelette Crab Fluffy egg mixed with crab meat = what can go wrong?
Both menus only have 2 sizes & have the same price: S = 395 baht M = 495 baht Size M can be served for 2-3 persons.
Although i have to wait for approx. 1 hour for these two dishes. It was worthed! We passed through the other Here Hai branch the other day, and the queue was too long, and it was under the direct sun.
In this food court, although packed and quite busy during lunchtime, but you can eat other food and sit down in airconditioned area while you wait for the food.
In my opinion 3.8 star definitely don't do justice to the food. I know it's a bit pricey, but come on! You can eat fat crab meat, without the hassle of peeling the hard shells! It's normal to pay more for the luxurious...
