Made an appointment on a Tuesday at 6 for a cut, wash and blow and ended at 7.30 - took 1.5 hours for my very long and thick hair, so it wasn’t unreasonable. However, they were very apologetic for the wait and was very packed. In the midst of attending to me, the same stylist were also attending to 2 other clients. I did not have a strict time to keep to, so I didn’t mind the wait. Just something to take note if you’re planning to patronise the salon.

The stylist I went with was mentioned a couple times in earlier reviews - Mr Man. He seem knowledgeable, and was friendly. He trimmed my hair appropriately, and made revision when needed. Despite language barrier, he understood what I wanted perfectly: 5/5 ⭐️

Unfortunately I did not get the name of the stylist/assistant that washed my hair, but it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. To name the least.. my hair wasn’t even completely made damp, the washing wasn’t done properly.. it was akin to stroking or grazing the surface of my head. Definitely no head massages. To put it more visually, I have XL length hair and my hair was washed quicker than a man with less than 3 inches of hair. Others seated had obvious massage and took great deal of time so it seem to be a stylist issue. That was a 0/5 experience for sure, hence the lowered rating for the combined service.

I asked for a tiny amount of hair to be cut from the back and sides of my hair and leave the top as is. Without taking the time to ensure he had fully understood my request, the hairdresser just said “okay, yes” and proceeded to shear the back and sides of my hair like a sheep, leaving a huge line between the top of my hair and rest of it. And it was so so short. My hair had gone and it was irreversible, yet I have an important meeting in two days. So then I told him no, this is completely wrong. He got another barber to try and fix it but I said it’s impossible since it’s far too short. It was also not faded at all, just the same length all the way through. It looked dreadful. So I realised all we could do is try a completely different cut. I asked the second barber to just fade the back/sides and cut the top a lot to try and blend it together so it looks like a somewhat acceptable haircut. In the end it still looked awful and I’ve lost basically all my hair after wanting just a tiny tidy up around the ear and neck. There were also some really weird things that happened like the hairdresser continued to dry my hair for ages while waiting for the second barber to come, even though it was bone dry so long ago. I got spontaneously a slot for cutting my hair and shampooing. I didn't need to wait and a lady shampooed my hair. Unfortunately my whole upper back got wet, she noticed it when she walked me to the seat and even dryed it, but still when you wash hairs all day, I think you should have a better technique. I showed a picture to the hairstylist about the style and length of the hairstyle I want. It was explained two times and I thought it was clear what I wanted, I even told it should be short and I don't have a problem with short hair. Through the process I noticed the hair was still much longer than what I wanted, but I tried to trust the process. In the end the hairstyle was not anything similar to the picture I showed. Unfortunately, I made the experience in Europe and Asia that some female hairstylist hesitate to cut short hair on women. If someone shows a picture of the style you want and you get something else, then I'm sorry you didn't complete the task. Overall the staff was kind, I paid 800 Baht for Shampooing+Cutting which is reasonable. I will only get a haircut from a male hairstyle...
