As my loyal (and slightly obsessed 😉) readers already know, when I review a place I dissect it — nothing escapes my radar. I rate everything from 1 (“total disaster, run for your life”) to 10 (“absolute legend, book it twice”).
Ok folks, buckle up — let’s dive into this one…
Staff & Service:– (9/10) Warmly greeted and promptly seated, the staff were accommodating and attentive without being intrusive. Service was fast and professional, making the overall experience very pleasant.
Food Quality, Quantity & Taste:– (7/10) Portions were generous, fresh, and satisfying. Several dishes hit the mark with flavor and presentation, though a few didn’t quite live up to their menu photos. Overall, a decent culinary experience, with room for improvement in consistency.
Comfort & Atmosphere:– (6/10) Seating was acceptable but not particularly comfortable, and tables felt a little cramped. The atmosphere lacked energy, no background music, just nearby chatter and cutlery clinking. A warmer, more inviting ambiance would elevate the dining experience significantly.
Cost & Value for Money:– (4/10) While portions and service were solid, pricing felt high compared to the overall experience. Given the minor taste inconsistencies and the subdued ambiance, it didn’t feel fully justified. A slight price adjustment could make it more reasonable.
Cleanliness & Hygiene:– (8/10) Tables, cutlery, and surroundings were well-kept and clean. Being in an open mall area, a fly occasionally hovered nearby, understandable, but worth noting as part of the full experience.
*Would I Visit Again? -Yes! Despite a few areas for improvement, the experience was positive enough to bring me back.
*Would I Recommend This Place? -Absolutely. Nothing majorly off-putting here — it’s a decent spot for curious diners wanting to try something new.

Read moreOct 2024 review: The portion of the food given appeared to have shrunk, which was a little disappointing. The taste of the kang kong didn't seem as nice as last time. Pork basil was also too sweet. The softshell crab was as still good though! We also got a drink - butterfly pea coconut - which was really good.
Previous review: The food was amazing! As someone who doesn't eat soft shell crab, I decided to try one bite and it was surprisingly good - really soft and flavourful. We came here twice and were happy to find out that the standard remained the same. The vegetables were great as well; I liked the kang kong a lot but I do wish that the chef had given more leaves rather than stems. The fried rice was cooked well and had lots of flavour. As for the papaya salad, the flesh of the papaya was mixed with spices, chilli and salt, which was a wonderful combination. The tom yum goong was good, because the soup was both sour and spicy, but didn't lack the saltiness that it also needed.
The only dish that I felt was rather lacking was the fried fish. The meat was fresh, but there was no taste to it. That came as a disappointment to us but due to the other dishes that were received well, this place still deserves a 5 star rating.
Come earlier if you want to avoid the crowd. We reached at around 4pm+ and soon after that, there was a long queue waiting outside of...
Read moreEven though the place feels packed, tables are bunched really close together while getting in and out takes effort, I still enjoyed my meal here. It's located in a mall where space premium is expensive so I understand the need to sardine the diners
However the menu is easy to navigate and the waiters helpful. Food comes fast and it feels hot and freshly prepared. I simply loved the watermelon juice that comes within the fruit itself. On a hot day, this thirsty quencher is an unforgettable drink.
The fried vegetable was fresh and looked to be cooked in a deceptively simple way but tasted delicious. The tomyam was unpretentious but flavoured well with generous contents.
The pork and egg was tasty but the gravy a bit too watery for my taste. If it was thicker, the dish would've been better. The fried soft shell crab however is incredible. Fried just right, the crunchy batter had a great cracking texture without being hard and the flavour spot on.
The fried oyster with egg looks a little gooey for my taste but came with large oysters that was surprisingly tasty. The ordered rice was fragrant and hot. All in all, my dishes combined well, the drinks were refreshing and even though the place was cramped, I had a filling and...
