There used to be another branch. But i could never find it… because the mall has a winding floor system and i have terrible sense of direction.
So I resorted to this branch since i accidentally stumbled upon this. Not as charming as the other one. But the food tho 🤨🤨🤨
Salted Egg Som Tum: 8.5/10 Perfect balance of salty, sour, fishy, spicy all mixed with the wonderful crunch of the different vegetables and young papaya and nuts. Tell them to reduce the spiciness to ur own level.
Fried Chicken Wing 10/10 Everybody can fry wings - but not everyone can fry them to this crispy. Crazy crispy and flavorful and yet crazy juicy inside. Urgh!
Grilled Beef: 10/10 The perfect cook on the meat. Tender and melts in your mouth. Pair with their spicy chili sauce. In melts and makes you cry. Perfection.
Sweet leaves with egg: 8/10 Very simple dish. But executed to perfection. Fresh leaves that is crunchy and sweet, slight bitter tinge at the end. But so pleasant
Larb Moo (pork in herbs and spices) 9/10 Another phenomenal dish. So flavorful and so spicy. Lots of herbaceous notes to add a bright lift to the dish. Lovely.
Drinks: 9/10 Lime slushie was crazy lime-y and sour. Thats always a plus. Its sweet but its also so sour to balance it off. Definitey made from freah lime. U just know it. Herbal tea. Made with assorted fruits such as longan making a perfect thirst quencher on a hot hot day.
Tub Tim Krob (red ruby): 10/10 The coconut pieces is to die for. Trust me. So good! And theyre generous with their rubies which were perfect. One of the best.
Overall score: 9.2/10 Bonus 0.8 because the overall experience is really really delicious and the price is fair. 🤭
🌟Final Score: 10/10 💛

Read moreNOT WORTH THE HYPE After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to include a visit to the restaurant in my trip to Bangkok. It took about an hour to wait for my turn to get a table. But once I got in the restaurant and made order, the food came quite fast. In general, the food was ok, but nothing near the hype. The price is not that rocketing high but not as cheap either. To provide more details, I ordered chicken wings which everyone swears by, salted egg papaya salad, sticky rice, spicy pork bone soup, and glass noodle salad. The chicken (S size) was quite good but nothing extra special except for the fragrant fried garlic bits they sprinkle on top. I’m sure you can find fried chicken just as good in the street that does not cost as much. Salted egg papaya salad: this is a fancier version of the original version, but I find the salted egg out of place and very salty. Would rather have the original som tam, but even it could be saltier than your taste. The sticky rice was just excellent and the star my meal that day. I like to dip it in the sauce of som tam. Spicy pork bone soup: the pork ribs were very tender, the broth was good but a little salty to my taste. Glass noodle salad: was very salty that I could not finish. Below average. Another thing to add, they have less spicy versions of the dish so do order for that if you cannot take the spice. Overall, the food is not worth the hype, price could be cheaper if you eat elsewhere. Service also needs improvement because of long waiting time while many empty tables inside (they are just not efficient enough to quickly...
Read moreA signature restaurant seek for at start, I can fully understand for queue up, however after going in here’s the story began. Ask for order no one approach even they stand beside and ask us for wait . Very well then a staff ask for switch place I’m also understand for that. After switch place only the third call is successful to order then. Ask for chilli sauce, three times and get responses with kindly wait a moment. What a superb experience then I walk to the island bar and ask, stand for 3 mins only get the chilli sauce. Our dish was accidentally send to the table besides which is our original place, and wait for the som tam for another 15 mins. Honestly I’m not a person without patience and fully understand when peak , while I think this service are too superb enough to me for writing this review. Of course to made my decision I do purposely walk to the counter for bill instead of call up, and I experienced an unforgettable moment too, stand for 3 mins and the cashier still doing her job and seems nobody in front or maybe I’m invisible. So what I experienced for 30 mins are the response kindly wait pls wait . Try it yourself guys what an superb...
