Thai cuisine is one of my favourites so trying out this restaurant in Siam Square One while in Bangkok was an absolute must since I noticed it while I was using the BTS Skytrain from Siam one day and saw the restaurant whose Siam Square One branch is ideally located right in front of the train station! This restaurant is huge and well spread out and there is even seating available next to the windows from where you can observe the fast paced life in the Thai capital. The service is great and efficient and I tried many things from across their menu and was very pleased with the homely flavors and balance in each and every single dish! Some of the appetizers I tried were the Miang Kum (Bite-sized Thai Herbs served with dipping sauce), Liang Vegetable Fried Egg which vou can eniov with rice and the Lion's Roar which is one of their Signature Dishes and had imported sirloin served with their aromatic tasty sauce on a bed of lettuce and garlic bread on the side. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and the portion sizes were also decent! Other items I tried were the Penne with Pesto and grilled Salmon, Thai Green Curry with rice, rice noodles and Thai Roti, Spicy Beef Stew with Herbs and many drinks such as their hot chocolate with mint, Thai Tea latte and Raspberry Lassi along with the Green Tea Yuzu. Not only was the taste above par, their presentation was also aesthetic! Finding authentic places to try out Thai food in Bangkok is not a difficult task but finding a place where you can try such a variety of dishes from across Thailand and that too made in a way that is difficult to find elsewhere with the same quality and balance of flavours is not an easy task so if you're a tourist then definitely visit this place! They have 3 locations in Bangkok but if you're shopping in the nearby malls such as Siam Paragon then definitely check this place out too! For desserts, I tried their Coconut Cake and Strawberry Cake and both of them were light and airy. The Coconut Cake had a great and intense flavour of Coconut in every bite and I thoroughly...
Read moreThe White Flower Factory at Siam Square One is a popular dining spot in Bangkok, located on the 4th floor of the Siam Square One building, right in the heart of the city’s bustling shopping district. It’s easily accessible via the BTS Skytrain, with the Siam station just steps away, making it a convenient stop for locals and tourists alike. The restaurant is known for offering a mix of authentic Thai cuisine, Asian fusion dishes, and a variety of creative desserts, all served in a cozy, modern-industrial setting with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of the lively surroundings.
The menu features standout items like their signature Fresh Noodle in Spicy Pork, a rich and flavorful dish, alongside favorites such as crispy shrimp cakes, Tom yum Kung Pizza, stirred fire squid with salted eggs, crab omelettes, and grilled pork (Moo Yang). Their dessert selection is a big draw, especially the Thai Milk Tea Mille Crepe Cake, which comes with a pourable sauce, and the Coconut Cake, praised for its light texture and intense coconut flavor. Prices are reasonable for the quality and location—meals often average around 300-500 THB per person, including drinks and dessert, depending on what you order.
The vibe is relaxed yet trendy, with wooden tables adorned with small vases of white flowers, reflecting the restaurant’s name and aesthetic. It’s a busy place, especially during peak hours, so arriving early is a good idea if you want to...
Read moreGood Taste, But Underwhelming Overall Experience Compared to Last Year
When I first visited this location last year, I was thoroughly impressed — the food quality and overall experience made it a highly recommended spot. Unfortunately, my recent visit did not live up to that initial impression.
Pros: • The dishes remain flavorful and well-prepared, maintaining a standard that is still enjoyable. • Staff were generally polite and tried to maintain a friendly tone.
Areas for Improvement: • The service lacked coordination. Several staff appeared idle even when customers clearly needed attention, which disrupted the overall dining flow. • Portions have noticeably decreased since my first visit. While still within an acceptable pricing range, the value for money now feels below average.
In summary, while the food remains a strong point, the decline in service attentiveness and portion sizing compared to last year makes the overall experience less satisfying. Improvements in these areas are necessary to regain the strong reputation...
