I had high expectations when I walked into this Japanese restaurant, ready to be swept away by the flavors of Japanese cuisine. Unfortunately, the only thing that swept me away was the shocking taste of… nothing. Yes, you read that right – the food was so bland I almost suspected the chef had gotten lost on the way to the kitchen and forgotten both salt and spices in some abandoned alley.
The staff, on the other hand, were incredibly friendly – almost too friendly, as if they were trying to make up for the food. The beer? That was a delight! I almost considered ordering another one and pretending it was the main course.
There was also a little plot twist: a 10% discount if you left a review on Google or TripAdvisor. A tricky offer, because how do you write a positive review about a meal best described as a zen moment – emptiness, balance, and the total absence of flavor?
And to top it all off (or rather, to sneak in an unwelcome surprise on the bill), there was a 10% service charge if you paid by card. I suddenly felt like a character in a bad comedy where the punchline is: “Does it cost extra to not enjoy yourself?”

I have never ever had a ramen THIS BAD in my life. I had the Kimchi ramen which as way too much Kimchi (more than noodles), the noodles were actually spaghetti and the worst part was the meat. The porc was ONLY fat and cartilage, it looked and tasted like DOG food.
Absolutely disgusting. I also has edamame with very little salt and was more hairy than my cat.
The prices are shown without VAT and they add 10%. Service fee so you pay 17% extra for this.
Shocking restaurant that has nothing to do...
Read moreWent by the reviews and was sorely disappointed. The ambiance was very basic with spa music in the background and a restaurant shopping mall like feel. We decided to try the food anyways due to the reviews. I thought it would be as good as the tapas place next door but it was not. Food was fine. Not worth the $2,000 baht. Service was fine too. Go next door if you are looking for good food+good ambience+good live music. Ps- There’s a 10% discount for leaving a good review but I figured others should know what’s up. And there’s no restroom...
