Uncle Joe Breakfast and Coffee bar — Restaurant in Patong

Poor customer service. The waiter accidently dropped some food on me - my clothes and bag were dirty. He appologised and brought me napkins. However, he did not offer any compensation (like for example to pay for cleaning of my white shirt and t-shirt). He ignored me and did not even collect my plate about 10 minutes after I finished. So I approached him and asked if I get any compensation for the stains on my clothes which I was not even sure would come off with usual laundry. I expected some refund or at least a free coffee as an apology. Instead, the waiter told me that I must have dropped the food on me myself. Even though I am sure that he noticed as he brought me napkins. I had to argue with him and he called his manager. The manager checked the recording of the security camera and confirmed that the waiter indeed dropped food on me. Then he started to bargain about the compensation which was also very unpleasant in this situation. I ordered a coffee and almond croissant. So I settled in on a two chair table for about 5 mins listening to my music and got my coffee and sipping coffee and waiting for my croissant and they asked me to move from my table because they want my table to adjust 4 people on next table by using my table. Seriously they should not accept 4 people if they don’t have space, rather than making people get up from their seats while enjoying their coffee and music. Cool little cafe serving western breakfast near Patong beach. The menu is displayed through images of each dish on the wall and counter. The breakfast served are the usual suspects such as muesli bowls, avocado and toast, and other full breakfast options. I chose an avocado on toast without any meat or eggs and a cafe latte. The avocado toast was great and made for a filling start to the day. The cafe latte was also made well with a nice deep flavour to the beans. Overall, a good choice for a morning meal.
