A la Turca — Restaurant in Pattaya City

I recently visited this Restaurant and felt compelled to share my experience, as it left me quite dissatisfied.

Firstly, I was taken aback by the demeanor of the staff, including the owner, who appeared quite grim throughout my visit. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere that affected my overall dining experience. In my past experiences, especially in restaurants run by Turkish owners, it is common to be served some complimentary mezze as a gesture of hospitality. However, this was not the case during my visit.

I was also shocked by the pricing policy. Charging separately for each piece of bread is not something I have encountered before, especially at 150 Baht per piece, which I find unacceptable. While the food itself was decent and tasted fine, the excessive pricing for small items like bread and cola, as well as the unfriendly service, left a negative impression.

It's a, nice clean restaurant, beautiful decoration and lovely staff. I really would love to give more stars but I can't because the food sadly was BLAND. Bland like they don't use any salt at all.

I got the beef Lahmacun which was the best seasoned dish of all. The Adana lamb Kebab was juicy and smokey but sadly bland, no salt at all. The Cacik didn't had any Garlic taste at all, it was just Yogurt and Cucumber mixed together it seems.

The food quality was average, but the owner’s attitude significantly detracted from the experience. They were unfriendly and seemed to hold negative preconceptions about customers without knowing them, which is completely unacceptable.
