Hidden Agenda — Restaurant in Si Lom Subdistrict

Absolute worst hospitality experience. Our group of 5 were the only customers there, the staff were not busy. There was about 5 staff on standing around so no excuses. The service was poor. Yet there is a 17% service tax on top of everything. The staff had to be repeatedly asked to come take our order, we had to get up from our seats to get the staff despite it was supposed to be table service. The staff would only take one person's drink order, instead of all the table's order, and so we had to continuously ask them to come back. This was not a language barrier problem, they all spoke great English. They also refused to let us use the wifi. Our drinks took FAR TOO LONG, 40 minutes for a drink. The menu stated "buy 4 beers, get 1 free" so we ordered 4 beers - then they refused to give us our free beer because we didn't ask for it at the same time. Ridiculous! We explained we didn't ask for it to come out with the others because it would have gotten warm sitting on the table. But they refused. We asked for the bill then and said we are leaving. They then brought the bill out with a cocktail that had been ordered nearly an hour ago and tried to charge us for that cocktail. The staff were so rude to us and...

Great Thai bar with outdoor seating! It‘s hard to find beer gardens or outdoor seating options in this area. So I was thrilled when I saw this place. And I actually came here many times before. Well, not to the bar. But the Indian vegetarian restaurant. But I never saw Hidden Agenda. It was pretty packed when we came here. We were lucky to score a table outside. Unfortunately next to the speaker that broadcasted the live concert from inside. Which was not the best but fine. Just a bit loud.

They serve bar food from across Thailand. I guess there is an emphasis on Isaan. And they serve draft beer. What else...

First, we didn’t try the food but from the menu I’ll give them 4 out of 5. Next time I’ll surely visit and try it out :). They emphasis on Thai food, generic one that should go well with alcohol.

Service was good, staffs were friendly and lively.

Atmosphere was also good, we don’t get to see this kind of place around silom so this is quite a hidden gem. There was no concert or anything when we were there, just a live band which I didn’t find them good, the singer was a bit too loud and shouting but after the live band there was a DJ, and it was good.
