On entering the restaurant I was struck by a very strong chemical smell, so unpleasant we opted to eat outside despite the searing temperature of the last few days. The staff were very polite and welcoming. I ordered Butter Chicken and Gobi Alu, ½ tandoori chicken, 2 rice and a nan bread. The food arrived quit quickly. Quite possibly the worst Indian food I have eaten in Thailand. The potato dish was watery and the only discernable taste was salt and chilli. The butter chicken was equally bland probably the same sauce as the potsto with a bit of butter and cream, although maybe extra salt. In fact (and don't get me wrong I like salty food) the main taste in this restaurant is salt. The Nan bread was flat and doughy, either not leven correctly or not cooked correctly, the rice was under seasoned and only just warm. The tandoori chicken was extremely salty and cooked dry. I was really looking forward to some half decent Indian food however what was served here was no to be.
Update to answer a few of the owners points:
1: With regard to watery, I do mean watery as it tasted of water no discernible flavour other than salt. So I should have said "tasted of salt water" 2: when I said bland I did mean just that I have eaten Indian food at many restaurants and this is about as bland and tasteless as it gets. Unless the meaning of mild is "bland and salty" as this was another dish where salt was predominant. 3: Authentic Nan is a leven bread and should contain a leavening agent such as yeast, not only was this nan not leven but part of it was raw dough. 4:Agreed no with gravy but when I said dry I meant the chicken was so overcooked that it was as dry as sawdust not succulent juicy as this dish should be. They should supply a gallon of water to stop you choking if this is how they think it should be cooked. 5: maybe the lack of seasoning (salt) is to make up the the fact everything else that I ordered had enough salt to give you diabetes. When I say warm I mean below food hygiene standards and likely to bread bacteria.
Having eaten in may very fine India restaurants around the world and having many first generation Indian friends who have cooked for me I can assure the owner I know what good India food should taste like and it is certainly nothing like the salty bland rubbish I was served. As the owner points out each to thier own taste and to anybody reading this by all means take a chance on this restaurant but you have been warned so don't be surprised if its not a...

The service was excellent but the food just average. Considering the steep price, this place makes me feel like it's a tourist trap. I paid over 900 baht for three dishes. Rice was charged extra.
We ordered pani puri, palak paneer and chicken korma. The sauce of both dishes was very smooth, as if it had been pureed for a long time. Or maybe even as if it was an convenience product and not freshly made.
Mild and mellow flavor profiles in both dishes. It definitely was lacking that special and intense flavor that I know from Indian recipes I use for home cooking and also compared to high end Indian restaurants.
The chicken korma was definitely not chicken korma. The flavor profile was very different from the original and it didn't have ground almonds in it. I couldn't taste any spices in particular, neither ginger, garlic or onion.
The chicken was tender and the paneer soft.
The pani puri was just ordinary.
Sorry to leave just an average review, because the service...
