MEETING POINT — Restaurant in Talat Nuea

I visited this restaurant craving mango sticky rice, and although there was a bit of a wait, the live music made it enjoyable. When the dish finally arrived, the presentation was beautiful, and the mango was delicious. However, the most disappointing part was when I poured the coconut sauce on top—it tasted salty instead of the sweet, creamy flavor I was expecting. The place is pretty and the live music is nice, but this is not real Thai food, is Thai for tourist. Avoid if you are looking for authenticity. We came because of the reviews and pictures of the food. Reviews are made by tourist that maybe don’t go eat in the Thai markets and street food but only in restaurants where they can sit comfortable and the pictures look amazing but the taste was not.
