Drawn into this place by its attractive menu and happy hour offer, inside the restaurant is quite stylish and nicely air-conditioned. My only gripes with this place were the service. Although our server was very nice, the waiting time was just rather silly. After ordering two cocktails on the happy hour, one arrived after 20 minutes and the other 10 minutes later - already not great. We then waited around 45 minutes after ordering till our food arrived. The food was very nice and well presented. However, our server asked us if we would like rice with our meal, to which we said yes, we’d like a portion to share. It seemed that she understood this as she said “ok 1 to share, I’ll bring it.” We then joked that hopefully this shouldn’t take long…famous last words…we waited and waited, trying to save some of our food as we wanted to try it together with the rice, eventually we saw the server and asked about the rice. To this, she was surprised and said “oh you wanted rice??”. At this point we just told her to forget it. Overall good meal, but service just totally not up to scratch. There were other staff and perhaps a manager there sitting down on a sofa, but all doing nothing. Think our server was perhaps overworked sadly. I’d recommend it if you’re not in a rush or willing to wait a while...
Read moreResponse to owner’s comment: It is completely a lie that tofu and chicken were finished lol. I had a bite and called the server immediately. Please feel free to ask whoever attended my table. I nicely shared my feedback but blaming and lying is a new low for you.
Please read the bad reviews of this place and don’t make the same mistake I did.
I stopped by late at night because it was one of the few places open and I was hungry. The ambiance was really pleasant, and the live music was lovely—definitely the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was a big letdown. It was overcooked, clumpy, and overly sweet, even though I specifically asked for it spicy. It honestly tasted more like ketchup than anything else.
When I mentioned this to the staff, the chef came out and explained that this is how she’s been making it for years. While I respect that, there was no real acknowledgment that I couldn’t eat it. I asked if I could order something else instead, but was told I’d still have to pay for the Pad Thai. That didn’t feel fair.
The service left a lot to be desired—quite the opposite of how good the music was. The female server was sweet. On a positive note, the mocktail (fruity passion) I had was absolutely delicious. But overall, I wouldn’t recommend this...
