Cheap for the tourist area but you definitely get what you pay for. The food is very low quality! The curry is watery, barely any meat and full of weird veggies that don't belong in curry. The curry had cauliflower!! That is blasphemy!! It also had weird mushrooms, another strange ingredient used, along with baby corn and really undercooked potatoes. It's just all extraneous ingredients to save money, it is so very obvious. The chicken spring rolls were THE WORST I have ever had in my life. It was so flat due to the lack of ingredients, saturated with oil, and the meat was on top of the spring roll...what were they thinking!? So bad. The pad thai was sub par. I just ate the food so I wouldn't waste money. To top it off the staff is very unfriendly. No smiles, no emotion, just there to do their job and less. Definitely check out out restaurants before eating here, or honestly just stick to the...
Read moreThere's a restaurant right next to this one, strangely with the same name, that you can see to the right in the cover photo (doesn't appear on Google maps). Food is made by sweet old lady, the food is really good, the portions will fill you up, and the price is really good considering the zone and that it's a sit down restaurant. We had a pad thai (50 baht) and red curry with rice (80 baht). The place is also really clean, and you can see into the kitchen and see that it's clean also. The lady does all of the waiting and cooking, and she cooks every plate fresh, so the one "downside" is that you might have to wait 10 mins for your food, but a small price to pay for such delicious food. The red curry was also actually spicy (not thai spicy, but not the typical spiceless stuff they serve tourists...

I've never had such poor quality, shoddy Thai food in my entire life (and yes, I've been eating Thai food my entire life). They cut corners. Spring rolls have the meat on the outside (just a few small pieces), and are practically flat with a few shreds if cabbage inside. The curry has all kinds of fillers (you have to look hard for the meat). To top it all off, they are not friendly, no smiles, even when you smile at them and greet them warmly. They have very poor attitude as if they are tired of all the drunk, belligerent Europeans, or something. AVOID THIS PLACE, stick to the street food.
Bangkok seems to have lost it's charm, as all the veterans...
