I don’t know where to start… All I can say is; the Sign is a trap 😂 !!! They do have lousy food & bad service !!!
We had to wait for our room at the Cha Cha Villa hotel, so we decided to have a lunch at “The Macaroni Club”. We sat down in the almost empty restaurant and waited a few minutes for our waitress… when she finally showed up, there was no “Hello”, “Welcome” or any word at all (not even a good bye at the end)… all she did was smashing the menu card on the table. Also when we asked her a bit later (after getting the food served) for some sauces like Soy- & Chili sauce she seemed angry and brought us the sauce one by one instead of bringing them in a bucket like the other tables had. The food was not spectacular or good… I had the Thai Basil and Minced pork dish, where I had to pull out a lot of garlic shells before I could eat it. On our way out, towards the hotel, a RAT crossed our way heading right into the kitchen… I HOPE IT MADE IT OUT AGAIN!!!
So, the no lousy food and no bad service is a LIE… I’d recommend you a different restaurant if you’re hungry. They have plenty...
Read moreThe smoothies were ok, but most of the food weren’t the food was either bland or too salty. Price was also incredibmy high for the area - although I think a big part of what you pay for is for the space and interior which may be a good escape from the heat and hustle/bustle outside.
Service was horrible! After we were seated, we requested to move seats because we were too close to a group who was smoking; we were allowed to move but not after being shown a frown and just throwing the menu onto a different table. Also, even though we asked prior to entering the premises whether we can use credit card, no mention was made for any additional fees - and we were only told after the fact. When we asked again about it, the argument escalated into a heated one with the waitress practically shouting at us while repeating only the same thing. This made the entire experience...
Read moreNO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER! We went to get some lunch and ordered three dishes. We got three dishes however, one dish was different from what we ordered. We thought, oh well, it happens a lot here in Asia and we do not want to make it a hassle. So we ate the dish. After that, our dish that we DID order was served, however we already ate the other dish. A waitress came up to us and told us: there has been a mistake, the other dish was for somebody else, you pay?
So, they have a very good business plan. Just put an extra dish on the table. Wait if the customers make a hassle or not and later demand that you pay for it, even though this has not been our fault. The dish was quite expensive too.
Not our fault but we still pay the price. it's not about the money, it's about the principle of not owning up to their...
