Greetings from Kenya🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
Diva Restaurant is an absolute gem! Located on a charming, quaint street just a few minutes away from Sultanahmet and major attractions like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace, it quickly became our favorite dining spot.
The service was exceptional – quick and efficient, ensuring we never had to wait long for our meals. The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting us with warm smiles and making us feel right at home.
The Turkish food was nothing short of delicious. Every dish was bursting with flavor and authenticity. We were so impressed that we dined there four times during our stay, and each experience was consistently excellent.
We would highly recommend Diva Restaurant to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience in Istanbul. It’s a must-visit for anyone wanting to enjoy great food, superb service, and a...
Read moreWe came here for dinner, we ordered pita with some cheese and hummus(which also comes with pita). We also wanted to order some tea but the waiter told us they had no hot drinks. After the dinner we saw another waiter drinking tea and smoking a cigarette outside. I guess they didn’t want us to order any tea. Both pitas were dry, not like in any other restaurant we had been before. Hummus felt tasteless, a lot of garlic was in it. Perhaps that’s just my preference. When the bill came, they charged us around 200 TL more for no reason. The bill was left on our table for around 5 mins. When I took the menu just to check if I’m not mistaken waiter quickly took another bill and said “I’m sorry my friend made a mistake”. I don’t think it was a mistake. I really recommend avoiding this place. Food and service terrible. Lot of many better restaurants on the...
Read moreThe restaurant gave us a card at the end of the meal to leave a review so I'm leaving a review (otherwise, I wouldn't). It was an average quick meal, and over priced (but so is every other restaurant in the area, which is full of tourists). The cat kept jumping on our seat and table, which was not hygienic. I liked the tucked away location but felt I didn't get my money's worth. They provided a free side of yogurt and baklava, but I would have just preferred a better version of the dish that I ordered than the freebies. The person working there was nice. I heard a woman come by to complain about her meal, as well were deciding what to order. That did not inspire confidence, and while our experience wasn't worth complaining about, it certainly was not great and knowing what I know now, I would have ordered...
