Great food. Some fantastic eggplant mezze! The chicken was perfectly charcoal roasted
Service was kind and responsive, but ultimately slow relative to the client volume. They went out of their way to try to make the meal. And gain some stars on google review, the free warmed baklava was nice.
Outside, the street was a bit loud. the table behind us was even louder and smoking, which one just has to get used to travelling. They moved twice to accommodate.
The price is higher than a few spots serving similar cuisine in the area but honestly, the quality was good.So I don't have any complaints there. That said there is a hidden ten percent service charge that they don't advertise. And doesn't show up on the math, but is definitely there in the total. The free baklava and pointing that out will likely end in them fixing the bill. I would happily pay for it a the service was great. They just would feel a bit more honest pointing it out...
Read moreA few nights prior we dined at a Michelin star restaurant but the food and service at Osmand’s was much better; no knock on the other restaurant because food and service were good also. Best of all we were just exploring and stumbled upon this gem. The manager/owner that greeted and seated us was very welcoming and appreciative. We had some complementary apps to start our meal…homemade Taziki sauce was amazing. I ordered the chicken shawarma and my girlfriend ordered the moussaka. Presentation and taste were top notch. We closed the meal with complimentary baklava, tea and coffee. The final bill worked out to about 1500 TL or roughly $40 with tip. Definitely add this restaurant to your to-do list when...
Read moreBy far, one of the best restaurant I've been to. It's a restaurant ran by a small family of old husband-wife duo and their kids. The owner is very friendly and they treated us like family too and was excited when we came into the restaurant. Highlight for us is the fish, seabreem and seabass; such goodness. It was cooked to perfection and taste, juicy and tender we finished even the head! The Pide's size is quite big too for the price. We had baklava too which was freshly baked, it was so fresh so hot so caution. I hope everyone comes to this place, they're worth the visit. Price is affordable compared to the surrounding area. To the owner, may Allah...
