English: this restaurant’s waitress said that their card reader has a problem so we should pay for a cash and i said that we don’t have enough cash and they asked us to go atm and withdraw more but i said we don’t need to do that for you because there wasn’t any notice before the meal. And they unpolitely gave us new card reader “working” and soon we paid🤣 don’t live in that way! And also the optionlal menu whose price wasn’t on the menu (so we didn’t know it had price) was sooooooooooo expensive. Worst experience in cappadocia.

Wow! We did not expect to find in Cappadocia a truly authentic Turkish restaurant serving outstanding food, but we did at Kilim! The food was amazing! The menu is not large but has a very nice selection of meats, chicken, and vegetarian slow cooked dishes. I recommend the set menu to get a nice sampling. The soups were outstanding. The warm bread with seasoning and oil were a great start. A nice selection of beverages including wine and beer is available . The setting is wonderful! Excellent craftsmanship went into the owners vision for their restaurant-and the quality and ambiance are perfect. Service is great. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Excellent value as well for the exceptional food. We both had the slow cooked chicken and it was incredibly tender and tasty. Go and you will not be disappointed- this is probably the only really home style, authentic Turkish cuisine in town. Came across this lovely restaurant by chance. The menu is small and very focused, local Cappadocia cuisine, as explained on the menu. 1 out of 3 main course options is a vegetarian option, and all main courses come with several sides. There are several regional wine options (by the bottle) and 1 option by the glass. Staff is absolutely lovely. I was by myself, and I asked for limited sides. I wasn't very hungry and didn't want to waste food. When I got the bill, I realized they had itemized and priced it less than the regular main course cost :) It was unexpected and sweet.
