Blue Jade — Restaurant in Dubai

I love Asian food and this place was pretty good. It’s like Asian fusion with a mix of Japanese and Chinese ingredients with Thai and Vietnamese flavours as well . We had the edamame, miso soup which was massive and had tons of tofu and enoki and shimeji mushrooms compared to the tiny miso soups you get in Japan and UK where I have ordered it. I had steamed sea bass which was in a nice lotus leaf and had a Thai tamarind flavour. My mum had Vietnamese fried rice which she liked. Portions are huge here so be aware. Chicken Siu Mai was my favourite. Prices are ok, not super expensive but not cheap, I would say moderate for Dubai, although generous portions make it worthwhile. Service was excellent, very polite staff and efficient service. The outside seating had a nice chill atmosphere with a view of the Marina. Overall great Asian Fusion good, very friendly staff and nice atmosphere....

The Blue Jade Restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton in Dubai is definitely worth visiting. The cuisine, presentation and ambiance is one that pays tribute to the food origins while remaining contemporary Asian. I had my birthday dinner with my family there. Prior to placing our order, the executive chef, Eric Meloche came to our table to meet us and discuss the meal. He asked my young niece and nephew what they'd like to have and created a lovely kids menu for them. The Sous-Chef, Ta Van Huong also came round to meet us . I was impressed with how warm and friendly the staff were; the hostess, Molly, gave us good suggestions on what to order . The food was impressive. The highlight of the meal was when my birthday cake was brought to the table by the staff (kitchen and restaurant). They also presented me with a birthday card signed by the entire staff. I'll definitely dine...

I went there for a Sushi-licious night and it was one of the best!!!

I have to say it was incredible value for the quality and quantity of food in a 5-star hotel. Miso soup had lots of seaweed in it; sashimi, nigiri and maki rolls were very fresh, beautifully cut and prepared. I got the chance to have Vietnamese noodle soup, ‘pho’ which included in menu, and it was top!!! With full of aroma and balanced broth, it brought me all memories back in Vietnam. Now every time craving for Pho I know where to go 😍😍😍

Needless to say, the service was great and professional as well. We were warmly greeted from the door to the table, all the staff I had nothing to complain about, they were very attentive, they brought our orders in no time.

Big thanks to Chef Huong, Hoang, Elaine and all the staff for such a great dining experience! Definitely will come back...
