Bubble CiTea — Restaurant in Bath

I have been there yesterday and ordered a warm vanilla milk tea and matcha milk tea. The young girl there was very obviously new and no one was training her. She was so slow and we waited for 15 minutes. Finally, the tea was ready. Guess what, she made two vanilla tea🤦🏻‍♀️ I told her one of it should be a matcha tea than she started to make another one, again, extremely slow. I saw her started to put ice in the blender, I said excuse me, we wanted warm one. Then she stopped and looking at me. I said you know what, pls return me the money, I need to go get my child from school. The other staff just completely ignored my request saying it will be ready in a minute then just helped her made the tea. Took another 5 minutes. After all this wait, we did not get any apology for that long waiting. I understand everyone starts as a new staff, but at least get some one to watch her and train her instead of leaving everything to the new staff. Me and my friend waited 20 minutes there for just two cups of tea. The tea tested ok nothing special. The whole experience was very bad, I did not feel any warm welcome from the staff nor did I feel they are friendly as lots of 5 star reviews say here. That was my true experience, I live in Bath area and I come to town every often but I will never go to this tea...

I've never had bubble tea before so was keen to try. Tried the juice based drinks for myself and family. Unfortunately, this has put me off trying any bubble tea again or at least from this chain. The drinks had an artificial taste and was very watery (syrup was used then diluted with water). The bubbles were ok at first but quickly became sickly sweet. I couldn't finish the drink as it made me ill to the point of throwing up. Even just the scent of the drink had me wrenching. The rest of the family weren't too keen on them either. Safe to say we won't be trying the bubble tea from here again. Dont waste your money. Most of the reviews here aren't genuine as they had a promotion where you get a free drink for 5 star reviews. Everyone who gave bubble ci tea above a 3 star clearly doesn’t know alot about bubble tea. The Tapioca pearls were completely over cooked until they were almost sludge. The matcha was extremely low grade and almost brown. The bubble to tea ratio was not great either , the bubbles were tiny and there were definitely not enough, it was also way too sweet even for me who has a large sweet tooth.
