Wandered in with the family one evening after a long day of shopping. When I entered, I Was told I had to order at the kiosk even though there were staff at the counter. I suppressed my annoyance and ordered like a sensible happy customer and we all sat at a table.
The horror started when I went to collect my food. they now don’t give out trays, even if you’re eating in. So with a family of 4 I had to unwrap the food on tissue paper on the table and pour our sauces over the takeout paper bag. What a disappointment.
It didn’t end there. When I took my first bite on the burger I realised they had given chicken burgers instead. Or was it, it was white meaty fillet. So I went to ask what on earth I was eating and the kids at the counter told me “yeh, it’s their new thing”, “it’s plant based and it’s vegetarian” that’s all I gotta know. I expressed my dislike but they told me that’s what I had ordered at the kiosk and they no longer sell the old veg burgers, which was probably the only meal I’d ever eat from bk.
So they tricked me into buying this plant based artificial burger at the kiosk and made me eat food on tissue paper, rip open dozens ketchup sachets with my teeth, squeeze sauces onto paper bags, refusing to give out trays to eat in customers.
They will of course be sorry for my experience and hope I have a better time on my next visit. But it’s what happens when u run on out-of-date procedures, hire kids to make your food and replace brains...

A massive improvement and change from what it once was, the burgers are now fully cooked, fresh and fast, the location itself provides itself a nice central placement in the bull ring - this allows a get away from the chaos of what is going on outside.
Tables are often kept neat and tidy, with the staff putting in a world of effort to ensure consistent and high quality is being delivered.
The burgers taste standard for burger king, which is a good thing, they are well cooked and consistently delivered at high level, all customisations are adhered to.
Located close to the burger king is a car park that charges £2 for parking.
Although the machines are still placed in an odd location, the tables set around the restaurant have been moved slightly and now make more logical sense, beyond this, the upper level of the restaurant seems to have been permenately closed.
There is disability access available.
This is vastly different from the burger kind I made a visit to a while ago, same brand, same staff, but new vibe and a strong positive energy; a lot of respect as this is often hard for a branch to do.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and want...
Read moreAt the time but not so long ago I was having great deal of trouble not from the customer alone but from the manager.
The Manager at the time made a customer get away Scots free.
A customer was an elderly white male an he was being racist towards me at the counter and I was very cross.
I've told a customer to leave me alone but he refuses to leave me alone but then, a manager came shouting down at me screaming at me jumping down my throat and blaming me accusing me for nothing that I haven't even done.
At the time then, the manager couldn't leave me alone when I've asked him to leave me alone and he refuses to leave me alone.
I'm ever going back there again because I feel very uncomfortable and the manager may not leave me alone.
I at the time was ultra late for work because of that huge incident.
I was at the time ever so embarrass fuming angry and extremely upset and let's hope that the manager loses his job and therefore he will hopefully...
