Cafe housed in the lobby of a former cinema, large and airy, high ceilings and panoramic street corner window. You have a great view of the street, so can really watch the world go by as you sip your coffee. Seems it's been mostly the same staff for the five years I've been visiting. That makes for a very consistent service. They are all friendly and one chap is particularly jovial, which makes for a great atmosphere. The tea is a particularly tasty brew. I like to have a cuppa with one of their muffins or the raspberry roulade, which is quite substantial. I would like to try the tiramisu next.
