Old Queens Head Chester — Restaurant in England

Well what can i say about this place it's the best pub in chester by far it's allways clean and tidy the staff are always happy nothink is to much trouble for them the food and entertainment is second to none and it must be the only pub in chester that doesn't put there prices up when the races are on i called in there last night after the races and the service was excellent i want to say a big thank you to Felicity for last night you are always smileing even when you have got customers with a attitude that is good customer service your managers are lucky to have you keep up...

my partner and I visit Chester quite often and usually an evening in The Old Queens Head is great. A little more pricier than across the road but better music and more lively, you get what you pay for! However the last time we visited (which was a Friday evening) the general public were being refused entry due to a private function! This was quite annoying as that is what I thought private function rooms were for! Usally have good little nights out but what an awful night I’ve just had I hato wait 20 minutes to be served and when I was served eventually I over heard staff talking about mixing a coconut liquor with the Bacardi and were laughing and did nothing,, unaware of the dangers of customers with allergens and this didn’t really make me feel comfortable I felt uneasy and on edge as staff seemed to have no worries luckily I don’t have an allergy to this but others may overall staff seemed very uninterested in serving the customers to busy laughing...
