We arrived at 12.45 for our seating table of 3 . We were seated after waiting a few minutes while staff were chatting at the till.

Once seated we were asked for our drink order and if we were ready to order . We found the music very loud . We were seated in the corner below the speaker. We asked if we could move or if the music could be turned down. Staff were great and turned the music down so that we could talk to each other . We ordered our food at 1pm , The food came out at 1.10 pm very quickly . The food was nice , the meat was slightly cold , the gravy was very watery but had a nice flavour, the cauliflower cheese could have been a bit more cheesy but that could be personal preference. We feel it was quite rushed as the food came very quickly. We ordered the meal platter with 3 meats , 2x cauliflower cheese , 2x potatoes with garlic . The potatoes with garlic were not very garlic in flavor, tasted more like parsnip puree. We also ordered 4 drinks The total price was £108 which we feel was very good value for what you get.

Could have a slightly better cocktail/mocktail menu . Could also have a phone number on their website so that you can contact them if needed . Overall we had...

i’m extremely sad to leave this due to the fact the reviews are really good. it started very well, we got sat down extremely busy and a good atmosphere, are waiter was very kind and came really fast. but it soon went downhill the table behind us was extremely loud particularly one women to the point nobody could hear one another. we waited 40 minutes for are food which was a decent time to wait considering how busy it was, but when it finally arrived my chips got taken away immediately because apparently they wasn’t weighed probably. if it wasn’t for my boyfriend i never would have gotten them chips, my chips finally arrived they tasted amazing, my burger was undercooked and bright pink i honestly was really disappointed and for someone who is afraid of getting food poisoning it completely put me of my whole entire meal. my boyfriend asked for a medium rare steak and it came well done

was just a genuine disappointment they did take my drinks and burger off and £4 of the steak but...

Great location, great food and great service! Beach front location - barbeque restaurant serving steak and burgers. We were a group of 9, Food was great all cooked to our individual requirements , steaks were tender, one of the group chose lamb , again perfectly cooked . we had a selection of sides all of which were tasty , though clear favourite was the Mac cheese! Note they cook the meat to medium rare unless you specify otherwise.( One of the group chose to have a burger and it was too pink for them). Service was very good , the server understood the menu and was able us on our orderincluding quantities as a few of us had sharing platters. Only had choice of 2 desserts , salted caramel brownie, and blondie. Couple of us went for the brownie, which was good and a large portion ( easy enough for 2) Portions were generally good.

Had a good selection of drinks although...

Stumbled across this restaurant on a day trip to Brighton , and on Sundays, they only offer Sunday roast, so I can't comment on the Mon-Sat menu, but it looks and sounds good. Got the sharing platter for 2 (generous portion), and it was honestly one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had in a restaurant. The meat was seasoned well, juicy, and cooked to perfection. All the sides were delicious too, apart from the roast potatoes, which were a little soggy and not crispy, but then this always tends to be the case at restaurants. The only negative, was that the food took over 45mins to arrive, which I was not advised of and that the waiting staff did not check on us once after taking our order, not even for drinks nor provide popcorn that all other dinners had.

The No 1 World’s Best Burger Award is well deserved. This place is consistently good and we should know because we can’t stay away. Each component of the burger is perfection - the sesame seed bun is light yet doesn’t fall to bits when juicy burger gets into it. The burger is delicious and meaty and the burger toppings are all *chefs kiss*. The chips though - they are also sublime. I’ve tried various sides and I think my favourite is the chargrilled lettuce with anchovy sauce. The spicy marg’ to wash it all down with is spot on and last but not least the service is reliably very good. The last 3 times we’ve been it’s been Luis looking after us - lovely guy who knows his stuff.
