Recently opened restaurant Tribez on London Road 1 it’s a very large space inside. (Plan where you want to park before visiting.)

The steak was very good, my son loved it (he's a steak lover). It was really delicious, cooked well as per order, and had a nice texture. Even the kids burger was tasty my little reviewer gave it a solid 5 stars! We also ordered chicken salad, peri peri chicken with rice, and prawns for starters. Salad was okay. The peri peri chicken had a good taste, but the sauce wasn’t blended properly you only felt it at the very end. The salad with the chicken didn’t feel fresh, and I couldn’t eat it. Mocktails were good, tasted just like how they were described on the menu.

The table we picked wasn’t cleaned. Omar (the main guy) was very professional and apologised, but right after that he cleaned it with a cloth that didn’t smell good left an odd smell on the table. I preferred using my own hygienic wipes. Food was served quickly and as per our request kids' food came first and the rest followed. Only one small issue: drinks that we asked to come with the food were brought out early, and we had to request ice again. Service needs a bit of work.

The place is huge but not really planned out well. Looks like a long stretch of seating for families, but there’s no real privacy between tables. Some improvements could be made there. I loved the décor, the lighting was nice, and the ambience was well done.

Omar is a gem of a person. Feels like he’s running everything on his own. He’s super professional and knows his stuff, but he definitely needs some help to keep things smooth. A bit of organising and support would really help food alone can’t carry the full fine dining vibe.

Hope this review helps them improve – looking forward to a better...

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING!!! After much anticipation to try this recommended restaurant , my family and I booked a table for 6 . We were all very hungry and looking forward to enjoying some lovely food , but when we got there we were standing around the door for 15 minutes , after seeing we were not being given any attention,we ushered a waiter and asked him about our booking , he just abruptly pointed to the nearest table that was still dirty with dishes , that we should just sit there and it will get cleaned up and he walked away . We waited another ten minutes for the table to be cleared up and helped ourselves to some menus that were already on the table . After deciding and ready to order the food we waited for more than 20 minutes for someone to come take our order. Unfortunately no one came to attend to us , I had to walk across he restaurant to tell a waiter that we were ready to order , he brushed us off by saying he had 2 other tables to serve and didn’t even bother to ask his colleagues to see to us . We sat at our tables for a further 5 minutes but when we still had no one attending to us , I went to the desk to let management know about our long wait and that we just wanted to order our food . I was quite shocked when the manager just said he’s sorry and that they were short staffed due to staff absences and he carried on with other jobs not even trying to rectify the issue . We eventually walked out feeling very hungry and disappointed that the management didn’t acknowledge our grievance and try and at least put it right . I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone after what me and my family...

What a lovely experience. Check the photos I posted..The Mango&Pineapple salad was a first for us which tasted amazing and was so fresh! I haven’t seen this anywhere and is a healthy portion for 2 people.

The lamb chops were succulent and flavourful with minimal fat.

The pizza was thin based and well topped looking very presentable..not too much cheese and well cooked as requested.

My half peri chicken tasted great arriving well cooked and saucy which I like to use as a dip for my chips. The chips remained hot throughout because of the cup they were served in. They were hot to the end!

The butterfly chicken steak was of a good size, nice and soft with the same sauce as the peri chicken. It came with the mash and saute’d vegetables which were both well seasoned. The veg was fresh with a little crunch to them but soft enough to chew..

The peppercorn sauce and the red sauce also had a lot of flavour and were great for dipping the chicken..

The car park is a little small but we got a space..

On entry the restaurant is very spacious, not crowded or noisy only been open 7 months so I’d imagine this will change. The place was clean and well decorated as you’d imagine for a new business.

We were allowed a table of our choice without a fuss. Our waiter made us feel very welcome as we spoke about his home country Turkey. He helped us with what we were unsure about..The food arrived in the order we requested as we wanted to take our time.

We enjoyed the whole experience and would highly recommend..See you soon! Sorry for the delayed review but had to...

So I went two times, I didn't review the first time on eid when the service wasnt great , tbh I blame the management/owner had no idea how to cope and it was not even busy at the time we went, had no management skills at all. You had to get up order at the till where the owner/manager only just tapped what I said was looking away distracted , we sat our own self's down to a table, had to get up to get these, staff were all over no management at all. Second time I went totally empty restaurant apart from one table and the girl in scarf was refusing to give us the sofa table at 9pm with no reason she really looked stupid . She just said it's kept I'm like for who, she said just customers, reserved and then I told her Iv rang to book a table and she said OK you can have that table it was so silly she looked like a joke saying no it's just reserved it's just kept when the whole place was empty and was till we was there like what you holding your table for no customers. The pepper sauce tasted full of cream, over priced for a lil dash of cream, the mash was like £5 again too much for what it is. Other food was fine it's not anything posh but decent food, I wish they would learn how to manage their restaurant and have some customer service skills where your not chasing for orders to be taken and have people on board such giving plates etc before food arriving. The other staff on eid were good but cudent do much
