I recently had the pleasure of dining at Franco Manca in the Tottenham Court area, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Known for its sourdough pizzas, Franco Manca did not disappoint. For my main course, I opted for the classic organic tomato, mozzarella, and basil pizza. The first bite was a revelation—the crust was perfectly chewy and had the ideal balance of crispiness. The organic tomato sauce was vibrant and full of flavor, complemented beautifully by the creamy mozzarella and the fresh basil. Each ingredient was clearly of high quality, making every mouthful a joy. To accompany my meal, I chose a glass of fresh apple juice, which was invigorating and offered a refreshing counterpoint to the richness of the pizza. It was the perfect drink to cleanse the palate between bites. For dessert, I couldn't resist trying the New York-style vanilla cheesecake with salted caramel sauce. This was the highlight of the meal! The cheesecake was luscious and creamy, and the salted caramel added an exquisite sweetness that elevated the overall flavor. It was indulgent without being overwhelmingly rich—a true testament to skillful dessert-making. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, greatly aided by the attentive staff. I want to extend a big thank you to all the team members at the Tottenham Court branch for their outstanding service. A special mention goes to my waiter, Altin, who consistently checked in to ensure my meal was enjoyable and that I had everything I needed. His genuine warmth and willingness to help truly enhanced the experience. Overall, my visit to Franco Manca was a resounding success. The quality of food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a satisfying pizza experience paired with friendly service. I look forward to returning...
Read moreLet me start off by saying this might be some of the best pizza I have ever eaten, and I’m from New York. I honestly can’t decide if the atmosphere, service, or food was better because it was all so excellent.
The servings are a great size, and there were plenty of options to chose from. Food and drinks came out in under 5 minutes at the perfect hot temperature. The food was great. Something that I really appreciated is that the size of the flatbread can be either shared or eaten by yourself! I personally shared but when I go back I will 100% be getting my own.
Facilities were spotless. Tables, floor, kitchen, and bathrooms were all completely cleaned and looked great. All of the 4 bathrooms were all private and spacious.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was incredible. They had great music playing at a perfect volume so that conversations can be held. The entire joint was lighted very well and allowed a for a perfect calm vibe.
As for service, I have 0 complaints. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They understood exactly what I wanted and got the entire order correct.
Now I will absolutely be coming back to this restaurant. Everything was amazing. This place is great for all purposes, weather you’re going out on a date, going with your family, or going alone! Thank you to all the staff for making the experience so special. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for absolutely everyone looking for some good food, and...
Read moreSo, the pizzas here are good, better than Franco Manca Kentish Town. They were well constructed not soggy and good flavour with even topping distribution.
When I came on a Tuesday alone the service was really fast and friendly however Friday with two other poeple it was a lot slower and there were times we really needed a server and there wasn’t one there.
I found that the tiramisu wasn’t good tbh, I had a better one from the Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference range, the flavour profile wasn’t varied at all and you couldn’t taste the difference between the different elements. Not impressed by the affogato.
We had the number 8 and the number 3 (with salami). I had the number 9 as well. I would say the number 3 was really good especially with the salami and I wouldn’t have usually got that. The number 9 was great, it was kind of like carpaccio so really worth it for the price. The number 8 was good but kind of rich and lacking in toppings. Good for a few slices but after time it got boring. They skimped on the pancetta in my opinion.
My friend wanted to give it a 3 but since I enjoyed my other experience I’d say 4, for what it is. Obviously it isn’t haute cuisine and you’d have better pizzas at a non...
