Ole & Steen UK — Restaurant in London

As a regular customer to any Ole and Steen branches, I usually have high expectations but this visit was disappointing unfortunately.

I have ordered a single-shot iced vanilla latte with oat milk through the app and arrived early to the Jubilee branch to collect it.

The main thing that I did not appreciate the most was the unprofessional and tantrum attitude that the barista lady gave while making my drink. Even though I told the barista that my drink was made with dairy milk instead of oat (while watching how it is made), she didn’t acknowledge her mistake and started throwing more tantrum when remaking my drink. Moreover, the barista did not bother to look on the online order system to ensure my drink was correctly made and whether I have specific preferences for them to consider and be mindful during the preparation.

Despite my drink remade twice, my coffee didn’t taste exactly how I requested and tasted instead with little vanilla with extra shots of coffee, which had upset my stomach very badly.

Overall, this experience made me feel very uncomfortable and wouldn’t pay £4.40 for such unprofessional service. I suggest that your staff take pride in delivering the product with a smile. The person who made my drink...

The blonde/larger older lady who served me my social was very rude and defensive. I asked to know what type of social i was being served and she was very abrupt and defensive like i had asked her to be fired. She kept repeating defensively ‘IT IS A SOCIAL!! THAT WAS WHAT TOU ASKED FOR!!!! YOU DID NOT SPECIFIY WHAT TYPE!!!’ and I had to ask her like 6 times before she would reveal what type it was like it was secret information. I simply wanted to know so i could add up my calories for the day. I tried to explain that to her but it seem to make her even more annoyed and angry and she made some sly comment about me wearing my headphones and tried to tell me to remove them and pretended that i wasn’t speaking loudly enough when i was and said she couldn’t hear me, whilst making a nasty face at me. I could not figure out if perhaps there was a jealousy issue there or if she was perhaps taking a dislike to me due to my tanned complexion and there was some sort of racial element. Whatever it was, she was very strange, overly defensive and gave of super bad vibes. Doesn’t strike me as someone who should work in customer service but that is...

I can't be a solo foodie lover. The delicious recepies and services should be shared with all my foodie friends so it can be easy for tongue and tummy lover to decide gupsupp place for a coffee and nice ambience then it can be non other than ole and steen of Canary wharf branch. you will get all mouth watery pastries and and contented service there. In a weekend generally most of cafes are crowded and time consuming where in contrast to this at ole cafe, you will get all new varient backed and healthier dishes along with almost nill waiting order period due to their staff service.I can say that I am glued to ole not only it's food but it's weekend service. Finally I can not conclude my review without expressing thanks to Mr. Ravi one of your staff member from bottom of my heart to add best foodie place in my list for a celebration point. I would like to give 5 star to him because he has been played key role to made me frequent cafe visitor.. thanks again Mr.Ravi🙌🙌🙌 for his mind blowing service always with big smile...cool communication ..no more words just try it friends...
