First impressions weren’t great. Walked in and was shouted at to queue downstairs. Went downstairs and the queue was longer. Great.. I wanted the quesadilla but apparently they only do them after 2pm. Downstairs the boards are smaller and not lit up so missed that even though there’s a small symbol saying it. On the fly I went for the three tacos. Went chicken and salsa. Got to the end of the line and was asked if I wanted medium or spicy. I said neither but got asked again so decided to go for medium just so I could get my food. Atmosphere seemed busy but I didn’t eat in. The food itself was actually pretty good. They were tasty and a good size portion. They were still warm after a 7 min walk back to the office. There are a million tortilla places around here and this didn’t stand out. Might go again if I’m passing by but wouldn’t seek it out.

The surrounding atmosphere of Leadenhall market is unique and lovely. The portion was not small, so enough for a meal. Most of the customers purchased on the ground floor and took away, and some people went up to the first floor to dine in. If you like Mexican food or now too heavy meal, this would be a perfect place for you! RATINGS Food : 5/5 Service. : 3/5 Value : 5/5 Atmosphere : 4/5

I recently had the absolute displeasure of visiting Tortilla in leadenhall, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The level of rudeness exhibited by one of your employees was beyond unacceptable.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an unfriendly attitude and disdainful looks. When I asked for assistance, the employee treated me as if I was a nuisance, responding with curt, dismissive answers and rolling their eyes. The sheer arrogance and lack of basic customer service skills were astonishing.

To add insult to injury, this employee continued to be rude throughout my entire visit, making snide remarks under their breath and generally making me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. She was also disgraceful towards other colleagues and I was mortified to witness human beings being treated like this. It's baffling how someone so unpleasant can be allowed to represent your business.

This experience has completely soured my opinion and I will never be returning. I urge management to seriously reconsider their hiring practices and provide thorough training on basic respect and courtesy. Until then, I will be taking my business elsewhere and advising everyone I know to do the same. The woman in question was... I think a Polish woman either the manager or supervisor. Absolute disgrace. Hypertheically speaking, If this was on the streets I would have punched her in the face. Of course as a gentleman I would not hit a obnoxious woman in Real life but boy did she test...

I am Mexican and live in Los Angeles, CA. I have eaten a lot of different kind of burritos in my life (30 years of experience 🙂). The burrito I had at this little restaurant in Leadenhall Market was very good. I decided to venture and pay 1 extra pound to have their Barbacoa meat. The seasoning and the juice of the meat blended really well. The options of complimentrrary vegetables and sauces was really good. If you want to have a better experience ask them to heat up the tortilla a little bit longer to avoid it getting soggy after everything has been added to it. Overall, this is a very good option if you want to have close-to-authentic Mexican-American burritos in London at an...
