The Old Shoe is an absolute gem of a find since being in Sheffield.

The whole team are super friendly and genuinely welcoming, always happy to have a bit of a chat. It’s got that laid-back, local vibe that makes you want to stay for “just one more.”

Great selection on tap, 20 odd options! I don’t typically go for draught stuff, but they’ve got this fruity cider that’s seriously addictive – 10/10 and a little bit dangerous if you’re not careful!

The vinyl setup is a great touch, and the Sunday Spin sessions are such a cool idea…..you can bring in your own records and they’ll spin a full side while you chill with a drink.

Also, shout out to the snack game! The poppadoms with mango chutney dip is a simple but elite combo.

Quiet simply I come here personally for the choice of beers from porters, dark ales, lagers, ciders and sours and the rest. The choice is brilliantly varied and changed regularly. I'm sure for beer lovers there will be drinks you've never drank before on offer. Pints, 2/3rds and 1/3rds. Easy to find head to orchard square. Close to Mercure, Leopold and Radisson Blu Hotels. Our favourite bar, started going when it hadn't been open long and it's great to see how far it's come in such a short amount of time. Very cosy relaxed interior, great selection of craft beer, stouts, sours and also unique mixed drinks, wine and spirits for those who arnt a fan of beer.
