Worst service I have ever experienced. TLDR: started gossiping and snickering in front of me instead of ringing me up
Went on Monday, Labor Day. First girl ringing me up (didn’t get her name, black girl with braids) looked annoyed right from the start and barely looked at us. Ordered two sandwiches, she got the size wrong on one. When we asked for two giants (instead of one giant and one regular), she rolled her eyes and “whispered” to a coworker “they said regular.” I’ve been going here for a year now and ordered the same thing every time, but okay. They have another girl (blonde w ponytail) finish the sandwiches, and while she’s making them the guy at the counter (was really nice w good customer service, wouldve left a tip if the girls checked us out) checks in w us about the rest of what we want on our sandwiches. During this, the blonde girl asks quietly over the counter “two giants?” And I say “two giants yes.” She makes two giants of one type (we had two different #s), and I say one was a #7. This girl sighs and rolls her eyes dramatically and says to me “you said two giant 13s” and makes another one. The guy is nice to us and finished the sandwiches really quickly. He leaves the sandwiches for his coworkers to ring us up, and they never do. The girl w braids is literally doing nothing, just laughing loudly and looking over at us, and the ponytail girl is snickering and talking too. We wait at the counter before we just leave. I really try not to leave bad reviews as I am a manager at jersey mikes at another location but this is my second time coming to this one and every time Iv got the same employee to serve me. Long black hair guy. So sad because I am getting treated weird and rudely because I am high risk pregnancy and Connor eat boiled meat. I asked if he can wipe down the slicer for me please due to the fact I’m high risk and my doctor has advised me to only eat cooked meat. It’s a problem . He will try to give you hot sun cheese that’s been pre sliced and meant for the grill. If he treats people who work at another jersey mikes location I can only imagine how other people are treated. My sandwich is so easy it’s literally just cheese. Also I asked for rosemary parm bread and this is what I get basically half white bread and barely any cheese. These sandwiches are expensive and we should be treating all customers with respect. Slicers should be cleaned anyways and not left with a bunch of meat. Some people don’t eat meat but love to eat jersey mikes subs. I wish the customers were valued at this location . I will say the ladies working with him go above and beyond but his attitude lingers all the way until you get out the door. So uncomfortable I hope a manager reads this and gets it communicated to the team . I’m hoping for a better experience. I made an online order at the location on 111 katella the GM refused to refund my order and said that it was “ for personal reasons “ I had to pay 50 dollars for 2 sandwiches. Then they tried to tell me I needed to drive to their location because they made the sandwiches which was a lie because I called the store as soon as I realized I made the mistake. Then Mitchell said there is nothing he can do until the owner comes to the store. Which is absolutely ridiculous. I asked when was the owner coming to the store. He said he doesn’t know. So how in the world will I get my money back if you don’t even know when the owner is even coming to the store. I am 7 months pregnant, high risk, and wasn’t feeling well. Now I’m being told that I have to drive all the way to a different location when the manager at the location I was at said that yes you can refund an order and that they do it all the time. I had no engery to dive to a different location and ended buying the sandwiches at the location I was at, which is absolutely ridiculous. The worst service I ever had.
