This is our first time trying this new Disney dining experience. The decor and ambiance are nice. There is a sitting area where you can watch the Jungle Cruise boats come by. Overall the theming was nice and a very good use of the space. Unfortunately, we had a huge breakfast at the Plaza Inn that day (Amazing Character Dining Experience!) so didn't have room to sample the menu. However, we did try the Loaded Whip, which I have also heard referred to as the Ambush. The presentation is cute, with Pocky "spears" poking out of it. It was even more delicious than I expected. The pineapple and orange whip blended into a nice flavor profile all it's own. All the fruits and hibiscus tasted so well together. Taking a spoonful of everything together was the best mouthful. Plus, the coconut and crystalized hibiscus gave a nice light crunch. Sometimes, I don't like the "threadiness" of shredded coconut, but these small, crunchy pieces practically dissolved in my mouth. So overall I recommend at least swinging by this new location. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu...
Read moreDisappointed:/ My family and I love getting many Dole Whip Floats on every single Disneyland trip but my latest experience here has let me down. About 3 days ago, I went on another Disney trip with my family and I order a 2 classic dole whip float and other drinks. When I tasted my classic dole whip float, it had an applesauce texture and was not enjoyable to drink. I let the cashier know and she asked a another employee to help me and I told her about how the texture of the juice at the bottom had a applesauce consistency and she told me that they made their own Juice now and that they used to use a can juice. And she told me that they couldn’t remake it for me because it would be the same thing. So I went back with my family and the first cashier asked me if they made me a new one and I said no and she said that she was sorry and that they probably didn’t mix the juice properly so I probably got all the pineapple pulp. They should have remade my drink or offer me a refund. It’s very...

Food: You are here for the Dole Whips! There are other items but I repeat… you are here for the Dole Whips. This visit was the Pineapple Upside Down Cake Dole Whips. WOW! Just… Wow! Best Dole Whip I ever had hands down. Little cakes bites with strong and awesome pineapple flavor. This is the stuff that will make me fat again. Love this and Disney please keep this on the menu.
Service: Disney cast member service is super top notch service. Compliment you cast members on the Disneyland app as that is the Disney way to tip at non-sit down restaurants.
Ambiance: Tropical Hawaii feels next to the Jungle Cruise with Fifi talking to you from her perch. Pure Disney magical feeling and it is great to be here at night with the tiki torches blazin’. Love the...
